W8FIT Adjustable Weighted Walking and Exercise Belt 8 LB Medium (34″ – 40″)

Extreeeeeeeeeemely happy with my purchase! I'm an avid walker, walk 5+ miles/day, newly retired and noticed I starting putting on a bit of weight around the ol' mid section (slowing metabolism). So I decided to add weights to my walk routine. Before purchasing this belt, I'd bought a weighted vest. The vest was fine; but it put slight pressure on my spine and lower back which I didn't like; also, I looked like some sort of "commando" wearing it (blame my vanity lol!). So when I went searching for something I could wear under my clothing and stumbled on this belt, it was the PERFECT solution! Once I added the weights, the extra pounds started falling off!As described, this belt is adjustable and fits perfectly around either my waist OR my hips---depending on how I choose to wear it. And because the weight is carried along the waist and hips, I feel absolutely no pressure along my spine; when I walk, the weight seems better distributed throughout my core. Most of all, it has a slender design and doesn't add all that unnecessary bulk. I can wear it over my clothes OR under. And because of the slender design, it's almost undetectable at the waist under my walking shorts. Finally, it's well-constructed--you can tell they put a lot of thought into the design, which I appreciate. I wished they offered this belt in heavier options up to 15 pounds--I'd definitely purchase one in a heart-beat. Great choice!

Product was as described. I like that you can take out the individual weight and adjust the weight of the belt as needed. I am a 30 inch waist and I ordered the small/medium belt and with it cinched as tight as possible it still goes down onto my hips instead of staying around my waist. Not to crazy about that. By the end of the day the tops of my hips are a little sore. I wear this all day running all over the hospital at work. Suggestion would be to get a smaller belt than you think you need. You can always adjust up for a larger waist line but you can only adjust down but so far once you start losing the weight. Overall very happy with this product and recommend. I have other wrist, ankle and weight belts and to date this is the best as far as quality and wear & tear that I have found. Velcro is holding up nicely as is the belt, especially to be worn daily. I have had this belt and worn it Monday through Friday for about a month now. Better than wearing the ankle weights which stress all the lower extremities and the pelvic region. The belt is more centralized without putting stress on any major limbs or muscle groups. (other than being a little too big and sitting on my hips. )

I have two weighted belts -- this one, plus a more substantial 10-lb. belt that I typically use for brisk walks. I really love this belt and actually wear it almost every day. I wear it under pretty much any kind of clothing, to include suits, casual wear, and the like -- as well as over my workout gear. I have a standing desk at work, and I walk a lot during the day, so I added this belt to give my daily movements that extra oomph. The only downside to this belt is that the weights are not inserted into their slots when you receive the belt -- you have to do this yourself. It was a giant pain in the ass to shove the neoprene corners over the weights. But with that said, the hassle was more than worth it. I would not hesitate to buy this product again.

I use this belt for weight resistance with walking to build up my bones again after a bad bone density test. It is perfect!! The adjustable weights and the sizing make it invaluable to me - dang! No more carrying hand weights. And it arrived almost immediately.

The quality of the belt is terrible, especially the metal plates.Some of the metal plates are bent. All of them have small sharp spikes around them. Also cut my finger trying to take them out. I doubt the belt can last long with those spikes in. I am surprised that in the other review it last almost a year. The surface of the plate is not smooth at all. The photo on their website is a blatant lie about the quality of those plates.The material has a unpleasant smell. And I noticed many small red dots, likely paint, partly covering the front side of the belt. Don't know where's that from. The material feels thin. I believe those spikes on the metal plates will poke holes on them within a month.Update:The customer service was very helpful. Replacement order was placed immediately.I received a newer version of the product with better design and higher-quality weight plates.I measured the volume of plate and inferred that their density is roughly 12 g/cm^3.The metal inside the plate seems to be lead. So buyers should be careful if the powdered coating has scratches.The owner said the newer version will use iron instead.

love it, fits perfect i got the small medium i weight 157 5 4 easy to wear forget you even have it on i like that the weight are removable i started with 4lbs and will add over the weeks

I used this belt for 2 weeks, and it caused sciatic nerve damage because it put pressure on the nerve.I had severe lower back pain for a week and had to go through several chiropractic adjustments.I do not recommend this item!I can't return it because it was already in use and the return shipping fee will be high.

3 stars because I got it earlier than expected, it is made well and sturdy, 8lbs sounds like a little but its pretty heavy in your hands but not as heavy feeling on your waist. But it has a EXTREMELY strong smell of pesticide! I will wash it and see if the smell comes out.
