Blue Hat Toy Company Little Tunes MP3 Player

I bought this toy for my two year old daughter. I found it at Freds dollar store for $20.00. It was extremely easy to add music to and has so much space available! She has over 100 songs on it and there is still alot of space left. She loves the toy and it has stood up to being dropped directly on concrete more than once, without so much as a note skipped. The MP3 player is also easy enough to use that she turns it on and off and changes the songs by herself. A great feature the toy has is the headphone jack that would also allow for it to be hooked up to larger speakers. I was so satisfied with the toy that I purchased it as a birthday present for another child. Any time other kids come over to play they flock to the MP3 player and my husband and I love it, because it allows us to listen to our music while she listens to her's in the vehicle. We have been using this toy for over a year and it works as good as the day we bought it. I do have to wonder about the prices on here though. Like I said, I purchased it at Freds for $20.00.

My great grandson was given a Blue Hat Toy Co. Little Tunes MP3 Player over a year ago and he is now 3 1/2 years old. He has loved it and it is played constantly when he at my house which is very often. He interacts with the songs and never seems to tire of any particular one. I now have a great granddaughter who has just turned two and for the last 6 months whenever she is at my house, she is partial to the MP3 player. I had to go to her house to babysit on several occassions in the last 6 months and each time I had to carry player with me for her to play. Her second birthday party was October 23 so I bought this Little Tunes MP3 Player for her so she would have one of her own. The player is built of strong materials cause little ones handle things roughly. It has a good choice of children's songs. Neither of the children had any trouble learning how to turn it on and off and making it loud or louder (never softer_. I strongly recommend it even for the youngest.

We're very unhappy with this product and we have already printed the return receipt to send it back to Amazon. We're sad because this unit was highly recommended to us through a friend.The battery compartment is extremely tight. My wife asked me to put the batteries into the player for her since she tried for 20 minutes and failed. I have to admit I laughed to myself until I gave it a shot. Then I understood her frustration. While the batteries slid into the slots easily, putting the lid on the battery compartment was darn near impossible. The springs they use to connect the battery to the electrodes are way too tight. The springs have very little give. This made it extremely difficult to screw on the lid. Once I was able to get the battery lid closed, the unit failed to turn on. So I unscrewed the lid to see if I had the batteries in backwards. Nope, they were fine. That's when I noticed the scratches and indention at the end of the battery. Seriously. The springs are so tight that it caused enough pressure to dent the battery. I posted a picture of the evidence. And yes, they are new batteries and are a brand name.The only time the unit powered up was when I connected it to my PC, so it seems to be an issue with the battery compartment.A part of me really hopes we got a dud, because surely they didn't design it this way.And to add insult to injury, my wife was at Khols tonight and saw an entire end cap full of these for $30. We might try to buy one there and see if we just got a defective unit.Buy at your own risk. Fortunately Amazon has an amazing return policy.

Love this and so does my child. He got one about a year ago at christmas and loved it. He played it and took it everywhere and it took a beating and kept on jamming. One day my older kid got upset with him playing and waking him up so he tossed it across the room and broke it. I am getting him another as it is a great product. Just saying because there is a similar looking one that gets terrible ratings with quality. This Blue Hat brand player is a good product. Put in the batteries, flip the back switch to ON and then hold play for a second or push play/stop at the same and it powers on. Select your song and hit play again and it starts playing. Also like to say it has nice big rubber buttons for small hands and it comes with 20 nice songs for children but you can connect it to a PC and put in 256mb of your own select MP3s. I do recommend this if you can get it at a fair price. I got it around ~30 and they had it here shipped in one day. Thanks.

It just stopped working on the 5th day. I can't even rate the rest, as e couldn't use it normally to learn how much fun or how educational it was... I am especially disappointed as I hopped it would be good for the price... The seller didn't even bother to respond to my e-mails. Amazon customer service ended up reimbursing the price for me. Credits to Amazon for its work.

Had one of these for another grandchild. Had to get another. They are hard to find after 8 years.

I purchased this for an elderly parent. She has alzheimers and has recently lost her vision and is legally blind. She so missed being able to play her CD's, but could no longer work a CD player by herself. This MP3 player is perfect. Just one button to make it play and one to make it stop. She can see enough to know the color green to go, red to stop. If she forgets to turn it off, it will shut itself off after finishing the playlist. I'm so thankful for a product that can give an elderly person something back that age had taken away.

I ordered this last summer for my daughter -- she was 15 months old. A friend had one and my daughter loved it, so we had to get her one too. It is extremely durable -- no problems with it at all, and it has been dropped and takes the rough-housing of a toddler. The pre-loaded songs are lots of fun and as much as I've heard them, I'm still not tired of them at all. You can load more, but I've not bothered yet since I like ths songs on there. They are kid-friendly but not annoying. She knows how to turn it on and off and adjust the volume and she really enjoys the music. She dances to it and can sing the songs with me, too. Thumbs up on this one.
