Caleb is a bit young but comprehends the play back function...words are repeated in a higher pitch , funny tone. They (B.Toys) are musical, educational and lovely looking toys in general. I have Rascal the raccoon also. When you leave Pip on he will snore and make a snoozing sound which is really cute.

Lovely item from battat. Just quickly press the tummy and say what you like. The toy repeats what you say in a high pitched voice which kids will love. Great design and size for little hands. Unfortunately there was a stain on the one sent so I’m guessing it had previously been returned but returned to amazon with no issues. Hopefully it I’ll be in stock again.

This was ordered as fun gift for a friend who's going through exceedingly difficult and painful health issues at the moment. I thought it might cheer her up when lying in bed for hours on her own. But the quality of the sound is really poor in fact sounds as if hardly any battery life left. It was also badly packaged so internal packaging and plastic covering was damaged - not so great for a gift. All round disappointing and poor value for money. And as a prime item, it took 3 days to arrive - seems a long time to me?

I was under the impression that I had to hold the button down and talk like a walkie talkie but actually you just press his belly, release, and then speak. It records for a hood amount of time, like 30 seconds. It is a tiny bit muffled but honestly it’s a kids toy and I don’t think they will care much. My son gets home from preschool in 40 mins and I’m excited to give it to him !!••••• UPDATEMy an loves this fox! He takes him to bed every night and has started taking him out places with us. I ordered a second one just for backup because he loves it so much! Also if u shake/hit it, it will repeat what you recorded last!
