Pretty good
I got this after my Bold 2 got pretty ugly. It did the cosmetic job. Can't really complain otherwise. good buy - so far :p i had an antenna problem though. i would get SOS indoors whereas other Blackberrys would be getting a full signal in the same place, but the tech guy said something about the old housing...so i brought it back in n i'm perfect now. I don't recommend attempting to fit this housing on your own, cost me a bit more to undo the damage, but that was totally my fault - nothing to do with the housing. I witheld one star cuz i really hoped i'd b able to put it on myself lol

Poor quality, not OEM fit (RKA Wireless)
I don't normally post these reviews but felt the need to. I work for a company that uses blackberries exclusively and have the need on a regular basis to fix BB's. Anything from trackball/pads, to full case replacement for cosmetic reasons.I've ordered these full cases for the Bold 9700 3 times now from RKA Wireless here on Amazon(or some variant of that name as they keep changing it on amazon no doubt to drop negative feedback). Each time I have had figment issues. The first time, top/bottom case halves would not snap together properly and the keyboard was oversized and wouldn't fit. I returned that and immediately ordered a replacement thinking it was a fluke. Not the case, the second one was just as bad and again e keyboard wouldn't fit properly causing force to be used to snap it all down which resulted in the call/end call buttons not functioning properly. So I returned the second one and posted bad feedback to the seller as the product was of inferior quality. Not to long after that I got an email from the seller stating they had pulled all of the product and replaced with good items. They wanted me to remove the bad feedback in exchange for a $20 gift card... I didn't reply.A month or so goes by and again I need another case (hard BB users on my end) so I thought, why not try them again. This time I got a case that was completely gutted, no internals at all and required a major swap from the existing back case. That is: camera, charging contacts, all button contacts, speaker grill sticker, and even the antenna's (which if you don't know are swappable as they are pressed in). I attempted to swap and after getting all of it done ( and breaking the back case antenna on my old case) I decided to try and assemble. What do you know the same issue, the keyboard is taller/longer and again doesn't allow it to go back together smoothly. Forcing it causes stress on e buttons and they don't click properly. Also, the front cover panel isn't original specs and has this hooky looking silver mesh in the earpiece instead of the black mesh on the original/OEM items.Moral of this story, don't buy these cases from RKA on amazon and be very cautious about any of the vendors on amazon. I haven't had any better luck with them either. Other online vendors do carry true OEM quality items, just haven't found them on amazon. Places like dealsishop dot com and crackberry dot com have been pretty good so far.Happy BB fixing!

Perfect replacement parts
If this isn't a genuine BlackBerry housing I sure can't tell the difference. You don't need a special star-driver to take out the screws in your BB; a jeweler's screwdriver or maybe a very small eyeglasses screwdriver will work. This item made my BlackBerry brand new again. Took about 15 minutes to replace the old parts with the new. If I had known what I was doing it would have taken me about 5 minutes.

Good quality-looks just like new
I bought a blackberry bold 9700 off of ebay and the body of the phone was in poor shape. i used this new housing kit to completely replace the housing on the phone and now it looks brand new and functions just the same. The swap was not very hard to make, it took me about 30 min and i watched a video on Youtube which gave detailed instruction on how to replace the housing.
