Emjoi Slim EpiPower 24 Tweezers Epilator - Hair Remover

After beginning testosterone therapy I am pretty sure I can grow a beard faster than any man, lol. I waxed, plucked, used cream hair removers to no avail. All created other issues and didn’t really get the job done. Not gonna lie, this thing hurts but if my options are pain or hair, I’ll choose pain. Since it pulls hair out from the root, growth is slow to reappear. And what little irritation I get, goes away quickly using some witch hazel after. For any mature lady who is menopausal, taking HRT or just a hairy beast… this is a great affordable option.

I really like this little guy. It works as it should for my face. It got the course and fuzz hair without problem. I only use this on my face, I use the silk epil 9 for my legs and underarms. This one is not a Cadillac model but it does its job and it’s a plus that it uses batteries. Quick touch ups are a breeze. I haven’t had any ingrown hairs, maybe that due to me exfoliating every day in the shower.Update: after using more than 7 months I still love this little epilator for my face. Tips, pull skin taut, go lightly and slowly. I can honestly say I will never go back to wax strips (that usually pulled, damaged and took some skin with the hairs) It will hurt at first but once you get used to the sensation it isn't bad at all. Oh and I have yet to replace the batteries, so great battery life.

Works halfway will get some of face and bikini are but not as well as bigger corded one battery operated I have found do not work for epilators

This little device is working very well, so far. I did need to experiment a bit, in order to figure out the best angles for my face, when grabbing a couple of little stray hairs here and there. But, once I got the hang of it, this device cut the time I had to spend on hair removal down to about 25% of what it was. Overall, it works well, does the job, and saves me time, so I just love this thing. It's a wonderful hair-removal tool. Good luck finding what will work for your needs.

So easy to use and much better than using a razor or harsh depilatory cream on my face. It doesn’t leave razor rash, stubble or chemical burns. It does take time to get used to but is very effective. Just be warned that tears will squirt out of your eyes when you get close to your nose when using this on your upper lip. Really sensitive part of your body! I can’t even imagine trying to use this under my arms either! Not for use on your eyebrows...it’s just too broad for that area unless you want to wipe them out completely. It revolves so put up your hair! I could see that would be a real mess if my long hair ever got tangled in it. Easy to clean. Small enough to go in your luggage. Love it. It’s like tweezing on steroids! So fast.

I really am happy with this product. It is a bit difficult to remove the hairs on your upper lip... I had to try different angles to get it to grab the hairs. I use it for the peach fuzz on my cheeks too and it does pretty good. I used it before I went to bed and it had left little red dots all over my face like razor burn. But when I woke up my skin was back to normal. I felt it was about a 6 or 7 on the pain scale but it was my first time and taking breaks in between helped a lot.

I had bought another brand and it was totally worthless. So I was skeptical when I ordered this one, however, to my surprise, it worked great!! Quick and almost painless!

I have the plug in Emjoi Gold from yesteryear, but liked the idea of something portable, battery powered. This was a waste of money. It’s too weak to operate at the same strength and while it does work, it just snaps hairs off, which means twice as much work tweezering for days afterwards. Save your money and just put up with plugging a cord in. Emjoi, you really should have tested this product properly before ruining your own brand. I’ve been a convert for years, but this standard of product doesn’t live up to what you’re capable of producing. I might as well just have a shave. :/

Works as outlined. Some stubborn hairs won’t come out but overall it’s pretty good.
