Aquabot Pool Rover S2-40 AJET121 Above Ground Robotic Swimming Pool Cleaner

This pool vacuum cleaner is slow, it takes more than one hour to clean and it doesn't clean everything. My pool is 12 x 32. Because I was a little disappointed with it, I contacted the seller via email to check on return policy. The seller will charge you 50% for re-stocking and you have to send it back in its original package. Well, I decided to keep it because didn't want to lose the money.

This does what it says! My one complaint is that dirt does pile up in the corners, it’s an easy thing to fix but that would make it beyond perfect if it did that! Overall nice machine, some days I run it more than once to get everything. Better than doing it by hand for sure :)

Only lasted 10 months, device turns on but doesn’t move. Worked great initially. I contacted seller, waiting on reply. UPDATE Called factory, sent back ($50 shipping) but they covered repairs. Works great again.

This robot certainly did a good job cleaning. However I have unground 16x32. I found the need to brush down sides and direct dirt to deep end of pool where robot seemed to gravitate to. Switched the pin to see if that would help robot do more in shallow end but did not work. Robot would likely work well in smaller pool above or unground. Also would be fine if you are willing to brush down sides and direct dirt and debris where robot spends most of time.

Works great. It did break down under warentee and they fixed it but I have to pay for shipping to they pay back. It does wor good though. I hardly ever take it out of the water even though they say to after use. So..my bad. Just ordered my 2nd on. The first one lasted 3 years and change.

One of the best things for the money, you can do for your pool. The pool service told us that they can’t keep the pool clean because of the leaves falling from the trees. They pumped it out and the water turned green again, after a few weeks. We let them go and added this, plus a new filter, that I was told we didn’t need and now we don’t need a service. But we have to clean the “robot” every day. I am very pleased.

I used this for an above ground 18 foot pool. It cleaned pretty well except around edges. It can be used to clean pool and saves on filter use.

Manufacturer made a quick response with a replacement part and instructions on how to fix. Not everyone would be willing to make a repair to a brand new machine. Upon attempting to repair I discovered damage to the body of the Rover where the other axle goes through. Have not yet talked to manufacturer.
