No way the other reviews are real! We just got this today and it's so flimsy. I can't believe we paid fifty dollars for it. My son saved up his money and tracked this no stop on the app happily awaiting the arrival. We opened the box and followed the instructions perfectly. Only one out of 20 times were we able to get a toy in the claw and delivered through the hole. The claw mechanism is held by a ball chain necklace and gets jammed almost every attempt. I'm really curious about these reviews and why no one else has had the same issues. I REALLY wanted this to be a go to toy but it most definitely will not be because it doesn't ever work.

This machine broke less than a day! The Claw can't reach to the small little doll. The Claw kept clogging after I fixed it! It is so sad to see a child cry to see there toy not working well. Based on my experience I didn't enjoy it.

Absolutely adorable, great for claw machine addicts like myself! It’s so much fun to load up the machine with little candies and toys and it feels really satisfying to win when it drops the prize with a “yay” sound. The only issue you may run into is that if you do overfill the claw machine, (which I did) you could accidentally snag the claw and it won’t pull up for a minute. Don’t worry! You didn’t break it! To fix that, just turn it off, then on, and drop the claw in the prize shoot spot a few times and it’ll reset like normal!

The grandchildren love claw machines when we are out and about so I ordered this one....I was afraid it wouldnt work but am pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use and pickup small toys. My 4 grandchildren are 5 to 7 yrs and they love it!

 This was a Christmas present for my two girls (5 & 7) because they are obsessed with claw machines. Other parents can probably relate... We browsed toy claw machines together and decided on this particular one.They were out of their little minds when they unpacked it on Christmas Eve (ah, our good German tradition!). I also ordered a bunch of squishies so that they had something to "grab". The claw machine worked great although it is deafeningly loud right out of the box. HINT: The instructions tell you how to change the volume - a total of 5 different loudness levels: Simply keep pressing the "down" button BEFORE inserting the chip to gradually decreases, then increase, the volume. You can also change the music by moving the joystick up and down, also before inserting the chip. But I digress... where was I? Ah yes! Unfortunately, the flimsy chain that operates the claw must have slipped and the claw would neither move nor open after less than half an hour of use. I tried to open up the mechanisms but decided to return it instead and try my luck again with a replacement.Amazon made this very easy so I ordered another one (even cheaper for some reason) and returned the defective one the same day. The replacement arrived after the Holidays but I noticed that it was used (the Sherlock Holmes in my only noticed the big "Amazon Warehouse - Used Deals" sticker after everything else) but it worked. At least for a little bit. Then the same thing happened again. Since the claw machine is currently not available anymore (I literally got the last one) and the kids loved it so much, I took the time to take the motor housing apart and look at the problem. I still don’t know exactly what causes the chain to slip and how I fixed it but I did somehow. The trick is to wind the chain around the two plastic discs exactly right or it will either not move at all or even move in the opposite direction.Knock on wood, after my repair the claw machine has continued to work for several days now with quite some hands-on time and even some moving around and getting bumped into. I hope that I won’t have to fix it again! So as others have said – the claw machine is so much fun when it works but it seems prone to breaking easily.

This is one of the worst purchases I made on amazon.Here are the problems I see and have:1. USB power does not workI had the same type of cable and tested with it, but it still did not work.I think the problem is not the cable, but wiring or the port to plug in the USB power cable.2. Terribly translated manualEnglish translation is so bad that it is laughable.3. Volume of the musicWhen you turn it on, music is at the maximum level and super loud every time. I have to push one of the buttons to turn it down each time. It took me for a while to figure it out due to the poorly translated manual.4. Phoney reviewsWhen I ordered it, it had over 4-star reviews, but I didn't read each one of them. Although this is a claw machine, I see many reviews not related to the claw machine. Also, English in some of the reviews are weird (grammar errors, phrasing, etc.), and it made me think these are not legit (although I'm not perfect and am not a grammar police).I will advise everyone to stay away from this product.

I was really looking forward to surprising the children I babysit with this product, but unfortunately this really disappointed us. Before the bad stuff though, the toys it came with were very cute. That's the only positive thing I have to say about this. Iit is really noisy, a grinding sound when the claw moves. The toy kinda lags,by the time you put the coins in, it shut off already. The claw moved very shakely, it did not move smoothly. It picked up the toys pretty easily, put as we would move it back so it could drop the toy, the whole claw would fall down and the small string/chain would grind as it tried to wind itself back up. Within the first hour the claw was so jammed it just stopped working. Would not buy again
