WOLVERINEMen's W03226 DuraShock Boot

This is second pair that has developed a crease protruding down from inside top of toe box making them impossible to even wear, let alone work in. Went with Wolverine instead of Redwing based on comparison reviews. I won't be wasting $100+ on another pair. Obviously something wrong with this particular boot, if not all of them.

I used to love these boots as they were the most comfortable work boots I've ever worn. However, it appears the manufacturing has changed and although they look the same, they are not the quality as I had come to expect. Mainly, the toe area will significantly shrink if the inside of the boot gets wet for any reason. The leather will actually shrink enough that it pushes down on your toes. Very uncomfortable and sadly I will no longer purchase these

I am now retired so no longer require a good tough well made boot any more. So these boots are perfect for me! The strong, long lasting leather of the Wolverines of my working years seem to have been replaced with a much softer leather that actually remind me very much akin to a kind of moccasin with a sole. The stout toe box that I formerly required in my old tough 'work' Wolverines is now a softer supple material that I can push in with my thumb with very little effort. What a wonderful difference now that I no longer have to care if my toes are easily injured! The old Wolverines lasted me for years working heavy construction but I'm guessing these wonderful new Made-in-China work boots will be like walking barefoot in less than a year! Wow! What a change!No doubt these will be the very last pair of Wolverines that I will ever have to buy, ever!Don't be stupid, read between the lines!

I drive a big rig delivering food products to Restaurants and I’m absolutely pleased with these boots. I have tried several brands over 20 years of delivery experience. These boots will be my go to boots until I retire. I bought an 11.5 and they fit perfect, I usually wear 11.5 or 12. The insoles are ok I usually replace them with ones with a high arch. They are a nice soft leather that need Zero break in time, they are ready to go straight out of the box. And the most important thing for me based on my job because I’m inside the kitchens at the restaurants I deliver to, Is the amazing oil and water slip resistant soles. Out of the box the soles are good but after a week or so of wearing them down a little the grip increases and dang watch out. I have power walked thru grease and oil while having a stack of food on my dolly and it was like walking on dry concrete. These boots are amazing, I highly recommend these to anybody especially in delivery for restaurants. I’m on my 3rd pair and they usually last me about 2.5 yrs because I do walk on pavement a whole lot. So yeah these boots are well worth the price. 👍👍. I was wearing Red Wings before and they were lasting me 2yrs and a whopping $235 before tax! So Wolverine Dura Shocks 👍👍 forrrrrrrevvvvvverrrrr! ⚾️ 😂

Very disappointing to receive dirty, grease smeared bootssold as "Used like new" from amazon.I do not care about the scuffs but whoever is being paidto "refurbish" items for resale is not doing anything.about "cleaning items".The boots themselves after my wife sprayed them with boot disinfectantseemed to fit well with an insert.The amazon customer representative seemed as concerned as I wasand will make a reportand I will spend some time cleaning my "Used like new" dirty boots.

We got these boots last night and Hubby's first words after putting them on was, "They're like walking on pillows". He wore them all day today at work, on his feet all day n is still as pleased as he was with his first pair decades ago. These boots are the only boots he likes and wears the tread on the soles out in about 2 years or so. The boots remain warm and waterproof through the very end.Please note, if you know your size you won't need to try these on prior to purchase. We've bought 3 pairs via Amazon now and have no problems whatsoever.Thank you for providing these boots online - it saves us a 140 mile trip into town n back.

My husband swears by these boots so much! He loves them so much we bought the exact same ones. He wears them daily for work & on his off days. They feel awesome and his feet never fatigue. He recommends them to EVERYONE

The boots are great, they're comfortable and feel very solid. My only complaint is the round laces which will come undone rather easily. You can use a "superknot" to keep them tied however. Good solid boot at a reasonable price.Unlike Keene and Merrell they run true to size.Update: So, I put on my boots for the first time about a month ago as it was getting cold here and I noticed that one of the lace holders (the ones near the bottom had popped up. The metal had actually bent and the ring was just floating on the lace. I don't pull my laces especially tight. I then noticed that there's notthing really holding that clip in place...it's kind of folded down over the other section. So, I put the ring back and bent in back in place. It happened again. $120 for about 20 uses just isn't a good value. I've written Wolverine about this issue...and will report back if they do anything.After a couple of emails and sending a picture to Wolverine they are going to exchange the boots for a new pair. Either the same ones (Which have been discontinued or a comparable pair). It seems that Wolverine has moved away from the type of lace holder that I had a problem with.It appears the return is going to take a month and shipping is at my cost, but at least they're making an effort.
