The Breakdown: • Pros: The biggest selling point is that it is chemically formulated to dissolve the calcium and magnesium deposits without using harsh abrasives. This means it won't scratch your clear coat or strip away high-end ceramic coatings or sealants if used correctly. It works incredibly fast on glass and gloss trim, leaving a perfectly clean surface behind. • Cons: It is important to manage expectations—this is a chemical remover for mineral deposits, not a magic fix for physical defects. If the water spots have been baked in the sun for months and have actually etched deeply into your clear coat, W9 won't fix that; you’ll need a machine polish. It’s also a premium-priced detailing product, but you don't need to use a massive amount per panel. Performance & Real-World Use: Application requires a bit of care. You must work out of direct sunlight on a panel that is completely cool to the touch. I sprayed it directly onto the affected areas, let it dwell for about 2 minutes to let the chemistry do the heavy lifting, and then wiped it away with a damp microfiber towel before rinsing thoroughly. It effortlessly shifted the unsightly white rings around the window trim and rear decklid that regular washing couldn't touch. Just received today used on bonnet and front screen to remove excessive water spots after washing and allowing to dry without leathering off (hard water area) as its a brand new black Omoda 7 noble up close water spots looked bad, used this product and it removed all water spots returning it back to showroom condition, i ordered the smaller bottle to see how effective it was, and would most certainly be ordering more well impressed

It does not work as it claims. I tried multiple time with the instruction but not a small effect. Water stains on silver garnish

Very good product, did exactly what i wanted it too

It's ok at what it does, but I wonder if it's worth the money? You still need to apply a fair bit of effort to remove any water stains and I don't know if it's more effective than any other spot remover/detailer that you could use for small areas. Anyway, I've given it a try and it does work, just not sure that I'll buy it again.

I got recomended this from a colleague at work for removing pesky water marks that appear after I clean my car. The water gets trapped in awkward places and ends up leaving water marks on the freshly cleaned car. This stuff makes it effortless to remove the water spots, leaving the fresh, clean paintwork on show, rather than a streaky mess! It sprays well and covers a nice area, meaning you don't have to use loads of it to remove water stains. You simply apply it, wipe it down, then go over the area with a clean microfibre cloth and the jobs done.

Did the job ok and you dont need much on the cloth so should last a while.

I had a ceramic coating put on my new car and one word of caution is in doing so watersheds do show more easily. Solution is don't hose off your car without completely drying it. I use a leaf blower to dry my car. Don't park next to sprinklers either. Follow directions, clean car, use microfiber cloth, rub vigorously and buff immediately. It does smell like it's a vinegar solution.

Great product would buy again

Product did not work to remove water spots on my side mirror glass or windshield. Used as instructed after washing and drying the car. Had literally zero effect. Car is 3 months and been washed twice a month. Water spots were not that old or baked in - but could not get them out with this product.
