To me this is the one to get if you need a mini pedal flanger.
This is my 6th TC Electronics mini pedal and I could not be happier with it. The TonePrint capability adds a whole another dimension to how this pedal can be used. Well made and great sound in such a small package.

Extremely subtle
didn't feel like this really gave a very noticeable flanger sound. It sounded and felt more like a chorus/vibrate type deal. I expected more "jet plane" or EVH type sounds. Not really the pedal's fault, but you would think it being digital and having an extremely in depth editor that you could get more dramatic sounds out of it. It's just really subtle.

Seems to suck the tone from my single coil (Fender Pure Vintage 59) and Carvin Belair amp. Cool flanging effect, but when I engage it, the volume goes down noticeably and the tone (hi freq) seems to roll off. When I disengage it, the volume and dynamics pop back up. Basically kinda disappointing.

Flanger is good.
Sounds good, but I returned it and got he Elec Lady from Mooer which IMHO is a better pedal.

Good little flanger
The TC Electronic Vortex Mini Flanger is comparable to any of the good full-sized flanger pedals I've used. It's a welcome addition to my mini pedalboard.

Estremamente versatile
La TC ha realizzato una serie di piccoli capolavori, con i suoi pedali TonePrint... sia che li si utilizzi con i molti preset disponibili (ed il sistema di trasmissione via smartphone è una delle cose più geniali che abbia mai visto, onestamente), sia che si preferisca programmare i numerosi parametri degli effetti con l'applicazione per tablet e computer, le possibilità di ottenere un suono adatto alle proprie esigenze sono quasi illimitate. Certo, il vortex non avrà la personalità di un electric mistress, ma può essere programmato per somigliargli parecchio. O per somigliare ad altri flanger classici, o per creare timbri non ottenibili con i pedali analogici "bucket brigade". Se vi piace sperimentare "al volo" sconsiglio il mini, visti i suoi controlli essenziali... se al contrario amate programmare i vostri effetti e poi utilizzare i vostri suoni senza grandi aggiustamenti il pedale normale è uno spreco di spazio - e di soldi. In ogni caso mi sento di consigliare vivamente il vortex, come tutti i pedali della stessa serie che ho avuto modo di provare (delay, chorus, riverbero, booster, looper...).

good pedal for the price,
got this at a good price, really enjoyed the tones I was getting, saw it's big brother at a significant price drop,am now playing with that!
