Garnier Clean Exfoliater Daily Balancing 5oz Tube (2 Pack)

I have fairly flaky skin on my face, particularly my T zone. But the rest of my face is oily. And i only just received this today but so far its working better than some others ive tried. The oily parts of my face aren't overly dry, but smooth with just a bit of oil but not so much its noticeable like before. My T-zone actually feels smooth! I have a little bit of flaky skin left but its not dry anymore. Didn't even apply lotion after. I am confident that after i use it again itll continue to decrease my flaky skin. Ill update in a few days providing i remember.

I bought this exfoliater because I saw in an article that it was a good option for a drugstore chemical exfoliater and liked that I could use it on a daily basis. I have combination/acne prone skin and I figured it would be helpful for that. I've been using it for about a month and the first thing I want to point out is that it is not simply a chemical exfoliater. There are small particles in the cleanser making it more of a scrub. Although the particles are more sparse than most scrubs, I felt inclined to write a review because after using it tonight I noticed that one of these particles was actually sharp enough that it scratched my nose and had drawn blood. I usually try to be pretty gentle with rubbing when I'm cleansing, but maybe this is partially my fault for scrubbing to hard. Either way, just figured I would point out so other buyers are aware this is a PHYSICAL and chemical exfoliater. So be careful and gentle when using. Other than this incident I haven't had an adverse effects from using the product, but I think I'm going to put it aside and start looking for something that's simply a chemical exfoliater.

I have been using this cleanser for several years now and it works really well for me. I have somewhat dry and quite sensitive skin. This doesn't irritate my skin or break me out and my face always feels clean after using it.
