Men's Ultra-lite2 Waterproof Breathable Rain Jacket

I got his as a gift for my brother-in-law and he just loves it! It's not a r3eally warm jacket but it definitely keep the rain off of you. A nice light weight design that folds nicely and can be stored in your pocket for those unexpected showers. Not bulky at all and It fits and wears easily. I've had several of these and they're not that expensive so I don't feel bad about someone walking off with it. Great emergency jacket too.

The only thing that bothers me is not one single pocket. Other than that, it's so packable, I carry it everywhere. Lightweight as all get out, great for being caught in unexpected rainstorms. I wouldn't use it as my main raincoat in a rain storm I was wanting to be out in for a while but this is great for carrying around all the time 'just in case'. The color has some darker patches on it , which look like stains but I haven't stained it. I don't care about that though. Zipper works great. If i had it to do over again I'd get one with at least one pocket in it but hey. I wasn't thinking.I have no intention of every getting rid of this jacket as I rely on it heavily for peace of mind. As long as I have this thing on me my phone /wallet/etc won't get wet!

I bought this as a lightweight and non-bulky alternative to a raincoat for a very specific, rugged outdoor hobby (hammering rocks in a quarry to find quartz crystals). It has served me very well so far, in the several months I’ve worn it on rainy days. It’s ultra lightweight, dries quickly, packs very small, is easy to clean, and is a nice fit/cut to wear over layers or just a tee without being too oversized. The hood is a nice shape for keeping your head dry without blocking your eyes.The other raincoats I own were either too nice to get dirty, too thick and hot a material for a full day of strenuous activity, or too hard to clean and dry. Ponchos fell apart within a couple hours. So this has been great, with my only disappointment being the material seems to have begun to wear and rip a bit. I will keep wearing it because I don’t want to throw away something made of artificial material so relatively shortly after I bought it. It has been great for hikes and trips in addition to mining and comes with a handy little pouch it can be folded into. Also importantly, the zipper has held up well in a gritty, dirty environment where most zippers get ruined right away.

If you are looking for a very lightweight jacket that won't take up room in your suitcase, this is perfect for you. We bought the complete suit (pants and jacket) over 10 years ago for each of us. Overall: a good buy if you need cheap, lightweight water and some wind protection.Pros: This item is lightweight and folds up well, so it is easy to pack. Definitely waterproof and a good windbreaker as well.It survived the Seljalandsfoss waterfall in Iceland--going behind the falls and kept the wearer dry.Cons:Not necessarily a con, but it is lightweight, so you need an extra layer of protection for cold temperatures.The material is canvas like, so it makes noise when you are walking and in high wind.

Ordered one of these because on a very rainy trip to UK, I had to borrow one that my husband brought. My raincoat soaked all the way through during a rainstorm (and I mean soaked through to my clothes!). Borrowed this from my husband and it was wind resistant, it was super protective in the rain, wiped off back at the hotel and took only minutes to dry off. It appears very durable, however, I don't wear this in rough conditions. I wish they made similar colors in the women's as they do in the mens. That's my only negative. I like the muted colors not the bright colors that are sold for women. We're going to Hawaii now and this raincoat is coming with me. In UK wore heavy sweaters underneath with layers and in Hawaii it will be the only protective layer I will wear. I ordered the medium beige in the men's but I would have preferred the men's medium short, however, none of the men's "short" were available.

Closest thing to paper of any clothing owned previously. Tore at elastic sleeve just taking it off within 3 weeks (like heavy paper). Don’t recommend except for emergency very limited use. Does repel water relatively well. No pockets has been less convenient but very secondary to temporary life span.

Absolut krass, was für eine gute Regenjacke man für die paar Taler bekommt. Leicht, ziemlich atmungsaktiv, absolut dicht natürlich. Ich habe sie jetzt schon mehreren Freunden empfohlen, die auf ihre ersten mehrtägigen Wanderungen gehen wollen, aber nur eine (zu schwere) Alltagsregenjacke besitzen, und als Anfänger*innen keine Lust haben, als Gateway ins Hobby erstmal 250 Euro+ in eine Regenjacke investieren zu müssen - die man dann nach 2 Jahren gegen ein 600 Euro Modell austauscht. ;) Wer mit überwiegend gutem Wetter rechnet, und einfach für die 2-3 Schauer, die es dann doch immer gibt, eine leichte Jacke braucht, liegt hier absolut richtig.
