A perfect replacement for the cheap plastic potable water tank drain valve on our RV. The plastic valve only lasted 3 years.

Needed a part exactly like this to repair a PEX waterline in my RV that had started leaking. Only place I found it was on Amazon, and it was the ideal fix. I ordered an extra one for next time. Sure glad I was able to find these.

I Installed it on my RV. The plastic valves disintegrate over time from UV exposure. Not only will this stand up to UV rays, but it is also a much better valve than the plastic ones. My only complaint is the intake hose barb really needs to be longer for my particular use. I wasn't able to get a hose clamp on it, so I had to use another method to secure it to my hose.

Works great when other valves are too large

An earlier reviewer experienced a leak, which made me nervous about using these, but, I've had great, no leak results. I've used them throughout my RV replumbing project to add stop valves, replace plastic valves, and even replace my plastic pull up low point drains. They work great, operate smoothly, and have not leaked. I highly recommend them. I used them for low point drains, toilet stop, outside shower stop.

What can I say, these are well made & worth every cent.

One of the four I bought dripped water out of the valve assembly once crimped in place...perhaps that was an odd-ball... Swapped it out with one of the two spares, and threw it away... Other than that, they seem to be nice, low-profile valves - just what I was looking for...no other issues so far...but be safe and buy a spare or two... ;)
