Does what it is supposed to do.
It was easy to replace my hot tub's original ozonator with this unit. All I had to do was splice the electrical connectors from the old broken unit on to this new one, and it worked great. The only improvement should be that they indicate which direction the ozone should flow with the replacement hose. The one-way check valve failing is usually what causes water from the tub to back-up into the electrical ozonator, causing a short and then a need for replacement. To find out - I poured water in one end. then into the other to figure out which way the ozone would flow into the tub. Also mount the box as high in the control access doorway (and loop the excess hose) to reduce the chance of tub water flowing back into the unit. Watch YouTube video if you have questions. It's easy.

Great Deal (Worked 3yrs)
Go to bottom first! ---2025 Aug--- Trying this one again. Eighty Five US. ---2025 Jan--- Ended up going with a Pro Ozone (Pro Z only lasted 6 mo) this one lasted lasted almost 5 years, these are now Eighty-five US. ---2020--- This one only lasted 1 year 6mo. Not available anymore. ---2019--- May had to purchase a new one. ---Oct2016--- Just noticed it is loosing its effectiveness after changing water. Bought another of the same unit but no longer 54 dollars now 75, lasted 3years pretty much to the date. Need to pull the panel off and check the little filter/screen, and see if that fixes it, probably not. ---12Mar2014--- Still working away we've been using it with CarefreeSpa dot com's Naturel Spa in place of Chems. Also I'm considering hooking one (Ozone Gen) up to our Clothes washer maybe my dishwasher. ---Initial purchase Oct2013--- Great deal hooked up with any problem. but my hot tub is 240VAC and had to use old ozone generator cord and spliced it to it. Had it 3 months. If it last a year it will have been worth it, because it costs less out of all others anything over that is bonus. It was fifty four dollars.

As advertised...
I really appreciate when things work like they ought to. The A2Z was easy to install and seems to work great. I didn't realize my older ozone generator wasn't working properly until I installed the new one. I was really led to replace the old unit by a mechanical issue. I'd sprung a leak from the check valve and while replacing the valve and associated tubing (which had gotten pretty brittle)...the nipple on the old ozone generator broke off. Once I installed the A2Z generator I realized...oh wow...that's what ozone bubbles are supposed to look like! I know it's subjective but the ozone bubble flow should be strong and readily apparent. This A2Z unit does that in spades and reminds me of when my spa was new. And, you can't beat the price.

Failed after only 6 weeks!
I purchased this item to aid in the water maintenance of my Hot Tub. It worked beautifully for about 6 weeks. Now the red LED light is on the Ozone unit but it doesn't produce any ozone! I am very disappointed. I would not recommend this to a friend. I will not buy again. Pros: 1. Arrived quickly 2. Easy to intall 3. Worked well (for 6 weeks) Cons: 1. ONLY WORKED FOR 6 WEEKS!!!

Keep searching Spend more money. You get what you pay for.
I wanted cheaper and that's exactly what I got. I am using more product than I did with its predecessor (brand unknown). I was strapped for cash at the time I ordered it. I'll bet there's a better product out there and I'll bet it costs more money. The one at my hot tub company is going for about 300.00. I'm sure that's over inflated; "OEM syndrome". I should've purchased a more expensive product but it's hard to tell if It would do what I need it to do until I try it. This product stated that it puts out more O3 than any other.......I'm not buyin' it. That's a load of bull.

Stout little bubbler!
I needed to replace an Ozonator that had corroded, and happened upon this one. It stated that it kicks out 300 mg/h, so it appeared to have a higher capacity than the one which was twice as expensive and recommended by my local spa supply guy, so I figured I'd give this one a chance. It arrived quickly and was easy to install... This thing is pushing out bubbles like never before. So far so good. I'll update if it fails soon, but I think this one's a winner. ***Update: April 21, 2014 Still kicking out a great stream of bubbles... I use much less chems in my spa now and am extremely happy with this Ozone unit.

Poor Rating Due to Poor Service
The problem That I had with this device was that the unit came to me obviously used. Anticipating that it may have been sent and returned I installed the device, per the limited instructions, that came in the OPENED BOX. Upon installation I noticed that the connectors were missing, and used my own tie wraps to complete. The device worked and created lots, actually a ton of ozone. The power light continued to blink so I contacted the company to see if that was correct, as there was no mention of this in the manual. I was instructed to check my wiring, which I did and it was correct. I emailed asking for a replacement to swap out with the defective unit and I never heard anything back form the company. So, I ordered another unit from DelZone, boxed this piece back up and returned it. I did not want to have the warranty laps and then have the unit die. I knew that I would be hosed. Oh, the DelZone MCD50 ROCKS!
