This is quite a versatile piece of kit and I’d imagine everyone will use it differently. But I’m using it to mount my iPad Pro 11” over my head in a suitable & ergonomic position. I didn’t even know such a product existed but after months and maybe years of frustration, dropping my iPad on my face & arms aches, I finally typed in “iPad bed holder” into Amazon and this was the first thing I stumbled upon along with many similar looking ones. I brought this plainly because of the 10k+ reviews it had compared to everything else. It does the job. I don’t have a headboard on my tiny single bed but luckily have a little bedside table that I’ve mounted it on it, and it’s on pretty solid. I initially tried attaching it to my lamp (pictured) but the clamp wasn’t grippy enough and it’d just angle down, although it didn’t come off all together. So I definitely wouldn’t recommend mounting the clamp in a vertical position, make sure you have a horizontal mounting position. The neck is very stiff and hard to adjust, but that’s fine, there’s no way it’ll hold the weight of the iPad otherwise. I’d probably not move it tbh, except take the iPad on and off the mount. So it maybe a bit of an eye sore. But I’d use it every night, as I read or consume videos before I sleep every night, so it’s worth it for me. I’d also be not adjusting the necks too much once I’ve got it in place because is the most fragile part, as most reviewers have experienced theirs breaking after a couple of months. I’m hoping that won’t be the case for me since I won’t be moving it, let’s see. Also, as others reviewers have said, the white part of the neck is even more fragile / thinner, than the rest of the neck, so prone to breaking, and should probably avoid twisting and turning that bit. As pictured, this can handle the weight of my iPad without drooping or loosing tension, so far, it’s only day 1. If it fails or weakens before the Amazon return window is closed, I will be returning it and updating this review. So far so good!

Works great, much better quality than others, very stiff and will stick in place when moved, the phone holder clamp also rotates once the phone is mounted. I can also fit a magsafe charger on the back on my phone while in the mount which makes it great for falling alseep wile charging.

Day 1 I don’t normally do reviews, because selfishly, I am lazy in this domain. However, I will make an exception, as I’ve looked for an item like this for a while and it’s only fair I help as many others as I can. I bought this based on good reviews, with the odd poor review. Nonetheless, I needed one to take travelling with me, so I took a small-ish risk. This purchase was for my iPad Pro 12.9” (2020) and the reason I bought it is mainly to watch videos/tv from lying flat in bed; meaning my hands are free and there is no strain. Occasionally, when I am sat up to play games, also. I think it’s important to identify the functionality of what you need vs extras/bonuses. In my case, I trialed it in the likely position for it to be used. I can confirm, so far it has fulfilled my personal criteria. It doesn’t appear to droop in this position, seems solid and secure. Immediately, I am impressed. However, where it struggles is the more obvious, traditional upright and landscape position like a second monitor. For whatever reason, the gooseneck just doesn’t like to withhold the weight of this size iPad and sags downwards. Portrait, strangely, copes a little better - likely to do with weight distribution. You can persevere with it and find the right spot, but it might take a few goes. This goes back to purpose and functionality - what do YOU need from it. My wife is an Artist and will likely use it when I am not away. I see more benefits from it moving forward, but realistically I can’t think of much wilder than my own or others mentioned. It also wobbles, a fair bit. It will stabilise, but will undoubtedly wobble. Be patient and it will be still. Advice Having taken onboard other reviews, I think to preserve its lifespan, avoid bending the white part of the next for stabilising, as much as possible! This is clearly a weaker point - use the grey part of the neck. Yes, the grey neck part is a little tough to move; use your thigh to curve it into shape, then mount it properly. It’s not that difficult, just be sensible. It has to be somewhat tough, so don’t be surprised. Strange as it sounds, try to find something to lean/prop the tablet of choice, against. Minute window sills, open doors, mirrors, whatever; be inventive and it will help stability and shaking. Be gentle, but firm. Malleable metals will weaken over time. Consider elongating it all when not in use? If it sags/droops over the course of, let’s say 2hrs - that’s still a pretty good outcome, I would say!? Just readjust it and move on. Summary So far, very early days. I have faith it will meet my needs. Although, I also expect it to wear out, tire and become useless over time; maybe 12/18 months. This is due to the weight of my tablet of choice. I think, overall, this item could be 5*, but isn’t because it can’t fulfil the criteria without issues; mainly being weight. The next update MUST focus on this and support larger tablets. I cannot stress this enough to the designers! For the price, and having free hands, I would still recommend it… but manage your own expectations. It’s likely the best available option for an iPad Pro 12.9” (or equivalent)!

This is an amazingly strong piece of kit that holds my phone or my iPad in a perfect position to use for picture reference next to my artwork.. I can also use it for drawing out artwork as it holds the images so completely steady. Very well made & the adjustable arm is so strong, it will hold anything in place without sagging or drooping. Would recommend this product for anyone who is an artist or who needs to take photos of small items or close up images.

Edit: Product broke after 3 months use. The white bend has snapped and now dangles from the silver arm of the holder. If you decide you really want this... DO NOT BEND IT. Fix it into ONE position, and keep it there. Unfortunately there is a fatal design flaw repeated by many here, I thought they might just be using it improperly and ordered one. While it worked great for 2 months, after that the holder started to dip on its own. 3 months in and its completely snapped and useless. I hardly moved this and tried to keep it in one position, but to take advantage of the flexibility, I did move it around and changed its position every couple of days. Still, that wasn't enough to make it last. Its disappointing because the brand of this holder have been good for me, but now with the risk of taking on this sort of product, I can no longer trust them with my money. As you can see, there is no warranty, and for such a simple product you'd think they would give you one for peace of mind. But, there is a clear reason why they haven't. This is a con if you intend to use it thinking you can constantly change the position. Unbelievable how much I struggled to balance tablets to watch them with all sorts of items and this is set up in 10 seconds. It is all connected when it arrives. You unwind the clip that attaches to a table or similar sturdy place. It is exceptionally long and the right size for almost any size of person or distance that is within touch distance. The tablet, in my case a Amazon Fire 10 HD, fits perfectly. The clamp on the tablet is perfect, no wiggle room. Doesn't damage the device or drop it when faced downwards in all angles . The one minor inconvience with these sort of devices is if you are typing on the desk you us it on it will bounce as you type keys and might annoy some people. But if I'm using the keyboard I am looking at the computer screen and not the tablet. Once you stop typing it takes.... testing now....7 seconds to stop bouncing. Of course you can readjust the long cable in a way to minimise the bouncing. You will probably have to take the tablet out of the case it uses. To add, the cable is extraordinary quality, it bends everywhere and has a lot of strength. Their is a large main cable that is flexible and strong, and at the last 10cm or so there is a more flexible cable to bend and twist much easier. The clips for the holding the tablet rotate 360 easily, and doesn't move angle like 1 degree or anything. The stress of trying to balance tablets properly is gone. Thank god. The price and this product is perfect, paying this to stop that stress and have the flexibility to point it anywhere, straight at me, about my head facing flat downwards is strong and trustworthy. It seems like it will last years, unable to tell obviously. The clips have rubber to protect the item you are clipping the base to, and the clip on the tablet. There are also little bands to stretch the tablet clips easier to take the tablet in and out easier. I am so happy. I didn't know things like this existed. I started using the folding amazon fire 10 hd cases which are now useless, they are almost and in some cases more expensive than this device. This blows it right out the order unless you like to carry it around outside and place it on tables then you might want a stand like them.

Positives and negatives, then full review: Positives: Well made, sturdy build Holds wide range of devices (12 - 22 cm) securely Easy to open part holding the device, due to string handle Decent length gooseneck (about 78 cm) Large clamp with thick padding, opens 4 cm Once adjusted, stays in place well Flexible section closer to device gives good fine adjustment, wide range of viewing angles Negatives: Gooseneck very stiff, so hard to adjust Clamps moves sideways when adjusting the gooseneck sideways Will wobble if you need to type or use other inputs (although think that's unavoidable) Full review: These are an excellent idea, really useful, and overall, this is well executed, but it's not that easy to adjust, especially sideways. The goose neck is very stiff, apart from the bit closest to the device, which is more flexible. It's definitely not going to droop any time soon and stays in place well, but because the neck is so stiff, when adjusting it sideways, the screw-on clamp tends to also move sideways, and gradually works its way loose, however much I tighten it. The clamp is nice and big and has thick padding, but also has a thick post going through it, so it only holds on with the front 4 cm or so. You would think that would be enough, but mine is fixed to a glass table top, and I either have to hold the clamp in place while adjusting or open and re-position it afterwards. I also tried it on my kitchen worktop, which the clamp opens just wide enough to accommodate (4 cm), and it slips sideways there, too, when adjusting it sideways. Fine adjustment using just the white part closest to the device is fine, but if like me, you need to be able to move the whole thing out of the way sideways, it can be a bit annoying. If you intend to position this and leave it in place, with just fine adjustment, it's great. The gooseneck is a decent length, about 78 cm. The part that holds the device is very good, nice and firm, but easy to open due to the string grip. My ipad feels securely held, have no concerns that it could fall out.. The part holding the device opens between 12 - 22 cm, so will fit a wide range of devices. Overall, it feels well made and sturdy, so still gave 5 stars and would recommend. I think it might hold better with slightly harder or rougher padding on the clamp..

3 stars because this broke after 6 months. Up until that point I was quite pleased with it. It was relatively sturdy so I didn't get much shake when using, it held my tablet perfectly and was reasonably long enough. The clamp part is really strong and rather large which helps it distribute clamping forces better. For me the size wasn't a problem as it was hidden but if you don't have much room it could be an issue. The break happened towards the tablet holder side. There is a point where it goes from a thick wire that's hard to move to a thinner wire that has much more flexibility. The connection for this part is made from cheap plastic and that connector is what broke, causing a bit of floppiness at the top. If this connection was sturdier, maybe made from metal, then I would have no issues giving this 5 stars and a recommendation.

I bought this product when looking for a versatile holder for a device to mostly watch videos and to play casual mobile games, fairly gentle usage. When the product arrived it fit my phone and tablet perfectly fine and had the strength to hold both without the arm bending under the weight. However, the plastic ring holding the leather sheath to the base was broken upon arrival. At the time I thought nothing of this as it did not seem to compromise the structural integrity of the arm and worked exactly how I wanted. After a few weeks of use I noticed the arm beginning to sag during a YouTube viewing and then promptly breaking. Upon inspection, the interior metal pipe had snapped completely. It is my thinking that this snapping was due to the initial separation of the plastic ring which allowed the arm near the base to bend more than it should which led to the eventual failure of the joint. After being unable to contact the seller I thought the best option would be to leave a review requesting a replacement if possible. This product was great while it lasted and I believe the only reason for the catastrophic failure was the fault out of the box and maybe if I had brought it up with the seller then this wouldn’t have occurred. I feel five stars would be in order for this great product if only I hadn’t received a faulty item in the beginning and would wholly recommend this as well as getting straight in contact with the seller if you also experience this issue. UPDATE - Just came home to a surprise parcel, a replacement! This one is perfect and I’m certain will last. Couldn’t be more appreciative of the goodwill of this company and great customer service, they obviously care about their customers. Would recommend 100% 👍

po 1,5 roku od zakupu cos sie zlamalo w srodku i kompletnie nie trzyma, jesli ktos ma zamiar uzywać do trzymania tableta nie polecam (ze wzgledu na ciezar malo wytrzymale)

Plasmaré la opinión por partes: 1º Comodidad: Es un adaptador totalmente perfecto para enganchar a la cama, mesita,... se adapta perfectamente a la cualquier superficie siempre y cuando entre en la holgura que tiene el soporte, una vez montado te da mucho margen de maniobra puesto que al tener cuello de cisne lo puedes mover a tu antojo, cierto es que es un poco duro pero es necesario para que aguante el peso de la tablet y no se mueva una vez colocado. 2º Utilidad: Me parece un sistema totalmente necesario para muchas cosas, te permite tener ambas manos libres, por tanto escribir, leer o manejar la table con total libertad. O incluso para ver una serie, es como tener una tv que mueves a tu antojo. 3º Precio: lo compré en oferta flash y estaba el precio rebajado, no llegó a 20Euros lo que pagué por él, pero pagaría su precio original ya que es un producto al que das uso.

Super content de ce produit après une grosse semaine d'essai. Assez rigide sur la plus grand partie maintient très bien un iPad 9,7" et maléable dans la partie finale vraiment bien vu, la pince fonctionne très bien avec bonne prise en main pour serrer et desserré . Top pour lire et regarder des films, je ne m'en passe plus. 6 mois après la partie malléable est casée, quel dommage la fragilité viens de là. le reste est solide je vais essayer de le réparer mais c'est pas gagné.
