Good airflow and very silent
Good fan, with a very good airflow while being silent. We purchase it for an 3d printer enclosure, and has been working very good.

Move lots of air and do it quietly
These are the fans you want if you need fans this size. The move a lot of air, the do it very quietly considering the CFM, and they are easy to control with 4-pin attachment and a wide RPM range.

fan speed at cpu idle
Picture a wolf howling in the far distance but just audible enough to know it's out there. I used this fan for rear exhaust, and it makes that distant howl at 750-900 rpm which is cpu idle speeds. I had to play with fan curves to figure out the culprit. It's not the case harmonics since it does it just hanging out. Going higher than 900 rpm makes it the loudest fan when at cpu idle. Going lower saw base system temp increase..It did a great job as a cpu fan in the old build using nh-d15, and wasn't noticeable then because my fan curves blew through that range. I have a mesh case so it might not be an issue for fish tanks, but I could hear it through the front panel with 3 intake fans running.

Always Depend On Noctua
Another excellent Noctua product - they just don't make anything shoddy, no matter what it is.

Great Fans.
I used these to replace the stock Fans on my Cooler Master 240 AIO. It dropped the Temps almost 10 degrees below the stock Fans. Quieter too. Max temps went from 78 degrees to 68 degrees.
