Easy to use and solid Android app.
First of all, if you had told me 10 years ago that there will be WiFi light bulbs and that I'd be buying them, I'd laugh at you. Fast forward to now, and here we are. It's happening. It's easy to use. The app installed from a QR code on the box. You make an account, then log in. Make the light bulb discoverable by turning it in and off 4 or 5 times, then add from the app. Put in your WiFi password, and you now have a WiFi light bulb. Easy. The light bulb can go from quite dim, up to bright enough to hurt my eyes. In white mode, you can choose a cool white, warm white, or anywhere in between. In color mode, you can make the bulb any color you could imagine. There are even some "scene" modes that flash or fade between colors, along with settings for which colors to use and how fast. Pretty much everything I could possibly need it to do.It works well both on the local WiFi, and remotely. Remote access is nice because i can check after I've already left if i forgot to turn the lights off, and turn them on or off if needed.Originally, i was hesitant to purchase WiFi light bulbs because it seemed like a waste to replace an entire WiFi device every time i replace a light bulb. I had been using WiFi outlets and switches. But WiFi light bulbs have come down enough in price that it's not so much of a risk anymore, and LED bulbs, if made well should last quite a while. The benefits to getting an actual WiFi lightbulb is that you have control over color, dimming is more reliable, and those scene modes, while maybe gimmicky, could be useful for events, parties, or just to relax in a color you like. At this point, i think that it totally makes sense to buy a WiFi light bulb. This one, along with it's Android app has worked perfectly for me so far.

Amazingly Simple to Set Up - Works Like a Charm!!!!
I purchased the LEGELITE LED Smart Light Bulbs for my office because the overhead light switch is behind my bookcase and hard to reach so I wanted something I could have Alexa turn on and off for me. I looked into smart switches and different ways to accomplish this, but the Smart Light Bulbs from Legelite seemed like an easy solution. When I got them, I was a little worried that it would be a hassle to set up. I have used other smart home products and have always had to struggle with them BEFORE finally getting them to work. Absolutely NOT the case with these light bulbs.I already had the Smart Life app on my phone so all I had to do was screw the light bulb into a lamp, turn it on and off a few times until the blub started blinking then the app did the rest. It was SO easy!!! The blubs are bright, easy to use and work great with Alexa - almost.I did have some trouble grouping the two bulbs in my overhead light. I created a group on the Smart Life app but Alexa refused to find the group. She would find each bulb individually without any problem, but not the group I set up through Smart Life. I then went to the Alexa app and set up a group there and it worked perfectly.I liked it so much, I bought 4 more bulbs and will probably be buying more in the future. This is a great product and I couldn't be happier. I don't have to jam my hand behind the bookcase anymore.

Very detailed review! Should answer all questions.
So I spent a really long time doing my homework and figuring out what lightbulb would be best for me. There is no denying that the LIFX bulbs are the best in the market but I still went for this because I got two sets of four lightbulbs for the price of one LIFX bulb. I figured that even if they were dimmer, it shouldn’t be a problem because I’m getting 8. I even bought an Echo Dot because I was pumped to enter the “Smart Home” world, but I’ll get into all that later. But, as far as brightness goes, I understood that I was getting closer to 600 lumens per bulb (as described on the product box) instead of the luxiourious 1,000 lumens that the other high end bulbs on the market can provide. So when reading this review understand that the four stars doesn’t come from the actual amount of light it provides, it is for a several other reasons.Let’s start with the 2.4 GHz frequency. Again, I knew I would have to manually go into my xfinity gateway and create a second WiFi channel specifically for my bulbs, but it would be nice to receive literature in the description or an an informational insert for the product. You must have an available 2.4GHz WiFi to use them! I know I’m able to be mildly tech-savvy enough to do this, but I had a rough time doing it. However, there are so many people out there using Comcast that may not know this so it’s important to mention. It’s not that it’s difficult, it’s that it’s required and adds additional time to set up. The only thing that I saw as a potentially negative consequence to creating a second WiFi to connect too was that it kicked a Roku Express off of the main 5GHz connection and it will only connect to the 2.4GHz I created for only my bulbs. My living room Roku did not loose connection, only that one. It’s just disappointing because it won’t even let me find my original network. I will admit that this may be a Roku issue, or even personal error while trying to navigate my router solo. Luckily I’m still able to connect to both Roku devices with my phone app. It’s still just a petty annoyance. For those who don’t want to go into your router/modem/etc, it really does take a simply phone call. Again, it’s not hard, it’s just frustrating. It shouldn’t be a deterrent for getting the bulbs, but something to be mindful of before going in.Now let’s fast forward to the app. This bulb will recommend that you use the “Smart Life”app. It’s a blue app with a white, outlined house. I will say that the bulbs connecting to my newly-created 2.4GHz line was seamlessly easy on the app. I purchased splitters for my light bulbs to convert one bulb into two bulb outlets so I could use multiple colors on one switch and the app still identifies the bulbs independently. You must leave the light switch on, keep your first bulb connected, and to connect the second bulb you have to unscrew it just until the light looses connection, retwist the bulb back so it receives the connection, and repeat this process manually 3 times. (I think I did 5 for safety and it didn’t effect it). But! The app let me name them like, “Computer Desk 1,” and, “Computer Desk 2”. So it was really refreshing to keep my bulbs organized in the app despite being on the same switch. It even will let you label which bulb is in which room. It will also let you create custom “groups” that you can turn off and on at one. You can even dim your lights without having a dimmer switch, set them up to change at certain times, and easily connect them to your Alexa. So there are some perks. Now here is a really big downfall of this app that I wish I saw. I LOVE the idea that you can choose a scene. However! You CANNOT create a scene and they only have 4 preset scenes to choose from. The other 4 “scenes” they have available cycle through the colors on the lights and will make them flash at different rhythms. Y’all, I’m not trying to have a rave here and the only four to choose from are lame. This is a huge “no-no” from me and the only reason why I wish I hadn’t fallen for the images of the app. I would not have bought these bulbs had I known because I hunted for these answers and I felt deceived. I have to individually go into every single bulb to create a custom “mood” I’m hunting for. The app will not allow you to save a setting. So unfortunate:( . I’m still glad I have the bulbs. I know I wouldn’t have purchased them had I known I couldn’t create scenes, so in a weird way, I’m glad I didn’t find that info. This didn’t directly effect my review because I realize I’m being petty. I’m nitpicking the app, not the bulb(s) itself. It’s just important to know. I wish Smart Life would fix this and fast.So despite the grueling back-work that was required, I really think I’m going to buy two more 4-packs though. I went through the “grunt work” of creating WiFi channels, learning the app, discovering the possibilities of having a smart home, and in the end it is simply delightful having a different color lead you around every corner. I like that it’s affordable. I can make my whole home feel a mood right when you walk through the door. And in my opinion, the more colors the better! It’s really amazing. I seriously recommend modifying your one bulb outlets to two bulb outlets though. I bought splitters, extenders, and bulb-to-outlet pieces and went completely “all-in”. It makes for a brighter, more unique, and interesting dynamic having two bulbs on one. Each light fixture makes its own “mood” at this point and it’s just downright cool. I’m very happy with this purchase after working through some tears. The nuances are worth it in the end. I would still recommend it, I would provide fair warning along the way though.

Hay tono que no da.
No logro conseguir el tono que dan los focos de luz cálida de una bombilla normal.
