Best stand for large trees.
We always have a large tree. Usually Frasier Firs in the 12 foot tall range. Over the years we have had several tree stands. This is by far the most secure and easiest to use. We mount the red plastic base on the trunk. Leave the arms off until the tree is up in the stand. Then slide them in to place and tighten it down. We've used this stand the last 3 years and it is always rock stable and compared to other stands a joy to use.Don't even think about the Krinner stand if you have a larger tree. Been there, done that!

Do not buy
Does not hold up a heavy tree. Legs bent within minutes of getting tree up. Total waste of money. I have done much better with the large Cinco stand

Best Stand Out There!
I used to be in charge of Christmas tree set up for a seasonal business and I saw ALL kinds of tree stands; tying trees to the wall, small little bases, etc. This stand is rated for a tree 14-feet tall (I have pushed it past this height with NO problems). I have used Frasier and Concolor fir trees and they all turn out great. We use a small scrap of carpeting underneath and I can even turn the tree with minimal difficulty and NO fear of it tipping over. Well worth the money-last one you will need to buy. **The picture is fine on my computer...not sure why Google insists on turning it :-(
