These are really excellent winter wear, whether sitting at a desk or in the outdoors. When winter gets really cold, I find I need the longer, kneel-length Heat Holders, which are also a sound investment.The inner cushioned layer makes them really cosy.The only slight disadvantage is that if you walk on them, they leave bits of black fluff on the carpet. And they do need a larger size of slipper - it's worth getting a slightly larger-sized pair of slippers for winter use to accommodate them.

The first thing you notice is how soft these socks are. They reach a good way up the ankle and are quite chunky. As for keeping the tootsies warm, they are really effective. Forget all those cheap so called thermal socks you can pick up in markets and discount shops. I have tried them all in an effort to save money but they are all a waste of time. Try these and you will notice the difference.An update...nearly two winters on, I can confirm these are long lasting. I have worn them constantly, except for a few months in summer and these have lasted really well. No holes yet, well,... except the one at the top through which you put in your feet.

Bought for husband who cannot get his feet warm in winter at times. These appear to have done the trick. They are a good quality fabric and launder very well. He wears them in the house as they are a little too thick to wear with shoes but, this is not a problem as inside is where he wanted to wear them. He received a pair of thermal socks years ago from Alaska as a present and they were the best ever, they are still on the go but, he needed some more. We have tried all sorts of makes but to no avail. These are the best we have found yet.

Very cosy and warm, but very thick and get a bit thicker after washing so you need room in your shoes.

Very thick and warm but not well designed and sturdy

been buying items that keep my feet warmer due to my diabetes and seen these heat holders before on tv shopping channels but far more expensive than amazons prices, i prefer to pay amazons prices for the same products and so glad i did they are lovely and warm socks but was suprised by how thick they were ? i was expecting really thick socks that i could not get into my boots with, but these are ideal as yes they are thicker than normal socks but not to thick, if your thinking about buying these dont hesitate as they are well worth the money and you will be glad you did.

Really warm, cosy socks, in fact they were a little too warm for the nice spring day we had last weekend when I first wore them. I'd kept hearing from a mate how good they were and just had to give them a try after having cold feet all winter whilst wearing other 'thermal' socks..... I must say I was NOT disappointed. Next winter should be a lot more comfortable for me now; and hey they have even washed well too. It's too soon to tell yet, but I'm hoping that they are also hard wearing as I go through lots of socks with my physical outdoor job.....It would probably be better if I reviewed this item after a reasonable amount of trial time!

Being retired, after trying all sorts of ways to keep my legs and feet warm through the winter, including normal thermal socks, these proved to be the answer.They are very thick, so can't be warn with my normal shoes, but most of the time I can use adjustable slippers, sandals, large shoes or wellingtons, or just these socks when around the house, so there is no problem.I wear them over another pair of ordinary thin socks, so they can be worn many times between washes, more like thick soft slipper than socks.

Super produit ! Moi qui avait tout le temps froid au pieds j'ai trouvé le produit idéal. Utilisé sous des chaussures de ville, de ski, de vélo, en guise de chausson et même en hiver sous mes botillons de Kayak car continue de tenir chaud même mouillé.Seul bémol, un peu épais mais il faut bien cela pour être efficace, peluche un peu et perd peu à peu de son efficacité au fur et à mesure de l'écrasement de la fibre. À renouveler donc de temps en temps...

wir haben schon ein paar Paare :-) und wir finden diese Socken wirklich super! gerade im Winter. sie sind SUPER weich und ich habe auch schon welche verschenkt. gerade für Leute, die schnell "Kalte Füsse bekommen". SEHR SEHR schön! Größe genau wie beschrieben. passen perfekt! würde sie mit einem Feinwaschmittel waschen - für Wolle und Feines eben
