What is the ash content? The regular for dogs and cats is 22% Does one scoop of the cat only version equal to half scoop for the regular?

"Crude Ash 22% " showed on the label. 1 scoop daily

I am concerned of the long term usage of the product because of the iodine content. Anyone has been using this for more than a year or two?

I've used it for less than a year. Are you thinking that the natural iodine in seaweed is harmful in some way? I couldn't find any evidence of side effects from the iodine (web search etc.). There is a Plaque Off Site with an FAQ and a form you can use to ask questions about the product. http://www.plaqueoff.com/for-animals/f-a-q/. Hope this helps.

Does it have a strong odor?

It does not have any real odor - my problem was that even a hint of Plaque Off in their food turned them off and they wouldn't eat their food. Discouraging to say the least.

Is this the same Proden product I've seen on here that cost $13?
