Dorman 918-301 Power Steering Cooler Compatible with Select Cadillac/Chevrolet/GMC Models

My truck has over 300k miles on it and the original power steering cooler took a crap. Thanks to Amazon for next day delivery… I was back up and running.Easy installation & a perfect fit.

Good fit

Looks to be good quality, came earlier than expected and packaged in such a way to prevent damage. The only issue I have is that I bought it for a 2005 Silverado 1500 with the 4.8, which isn’t listed as a vehicle it fits and when I asked if it would fit I did eventually get a response saying that it doesn’t fit it but I had already ordered it with a feeling that it should fit since it fit the same truck with the 5.3 and luckily I was right as it is a direct bolt-on for my truck

So this is a decent product. I installed it this evening and it fit perfectly in my 2007 chevy avalanche. Although Amazon says it won't fit. It's much cheaper than the one that's "supposed"to fit. The only difference is the upper line has to be removed and use your oem line. As that fitting is pressed on and goes to steering rack. I did buy better clamps. These are ok but for peace of mind I replaced them. I wouldn't say it's a hard job but tedious as the front bumper needs to be removed along with the upper support.

This works great, was easy to install and it was just like the picture.
