Polystyrene Petri Dish with Lid, 60mm, Sterile (Pack of 26)

I used half a petri dish for roach bait to keep it isolated from getting it all over my cabinets counters and other places. It is not easy to clean Max Force or advion roach bait off of your moldings and cabinets so use these to keep it off of surfaces like wood or countertops. They're small enough to do the trick you don't need the huge Petri dishes for roach bait. Very clear plastic I like them!

I used these to put jello in. My son had a science themed birthday party.

They are what they are. Good price and only one was lightly cracked on arrival.

Product description is clear and accurate. I didn't realize that it's probably better not to have a vented dish like this because I think the sterile environment that I want and need is not possible unless these are sealed afterward in some type of bag or other means.When I did a sterilization run for some of my equipment, this dish melted and looked like a potato chip after 30 minutes in the pressure cooker so I cannot use this In a pressure cooker.

Great Product only thing Is i ordered them STERILIZED and came with a puncture in the bag, doesn’t seem like a big deal but sterile work is extremely sensitive, after some time in a uv sterile chamber I was able to use them with only a few losses.

Worked out for our purposes.

A couple of dishes were cracked for me too. This seems like a common issue. Also, I would have preferred to have them packaged either in one long stack or two individuals. Getting them out of the bag is annoying and a little riskier because they're packaged with both stacks in the same large bag.It's fine, whatever. If you just want a couple of dishes then go for it. Next time, I think I'll spend a little more per dish and get a larger quantity from a better source.
