Ikea Alex Drawer, White

The box this came in looked like it had gotten into a fight after school. It was beat up, torn open, dirt everywhere and I swear I heard it sniffle. Some of this could have been the fault of UPS Bc a fill in driver delivered it and he's notorious for throwing packages but even he IKEA box it came in felt thin and cheap. I had someone put it together and once it was finished I saw the "wood" was scratched, small chunks missing and it was like there was a permanent layer of grime on it. Sending it back was a nightmare Bc amazon told me to ship it back in the box it came in. I explained that the box was destroyed and even if it wasn't it wouldn't ship in the old box now that it was put together. The item was an odd size so I had to make a. Box Which cost me about $35 In supplies. I didn't think I should have to pay for this Bc the item came in such poor shape (I took photos of the box and dresser). Trying to get ups or amazon to pay was frustrating Bc they kept saying "sorry no...." Until I finally spoke to a lady and she was very helpful and they reimbursed me for the shipping supplies. Having seen the (damaged) item and testing it out I thought it was ok. It's better suited for a kids room, closet or office space. Cheap material and it feels more like paper than wood. Good ol pressed board.

This took me a while to receive cause I wasn't home twice when they tried to deliver it, so make sure you watch your tracking and be home to wait for it. Mine came in a special truck to and it was the only thing in the truck he had to deliver. But after I got it really like it. The shipping is super exspensive though. So if you live npclose to an ikea it would be worth the drive to get it at the store and save on shipping. I don't live any where near one or I wouldn't have ordered it online. But I wanted one really bad so I did. But it's a great storage unit for my makeup. Also it takes a while to put together, but is super easy to install after you get the hang of it

I purchased this a while ago and I was super excited for it. When it came, some of the edges were chipped away. When I put it together, all four corners at the top were chipped and you could see the brown underneath the paint. I didn't return it because I was in need of an organizer, and other than the chips and ripped open corners, it's everything I wanted. Kinda bummed that there was damage because it was expensive but I liked everything else about it.

This organizer was a must have for me considering my absurd makeup obsession. Unfortunately the nearest IKEA is four hours away so I decided to purchase from here. The product came a week earlier than expected and was packed well. In fact it was double boxed and there was no damage to either. The unit itself was very easy to assemble and the quality is what was expected. I didn't have an issue with splitting or peeling of the white material. I have room for so many things and am already planning on purchasing a second for even more storage.

Quality is great, you will put it together. just a bit pricey overall.

Using in sewing / craft room. While easy to assemble, disappointed as one drawer side was missing a pre-drilled hole. Plan to drill it myself but have not at this time.

The piece itself is fine, just how it looks. Very heavy, and I got charged $80 to get it here. Also they sent me the wrong one and it was slightly damaged in shipping. However the piece itself is nice; just what i wanted and quite sturdy.
