Dansko Women's Vanda Ankle Bootie

I have feet problems that require me to choose my shoes very carefully. Nothing supports my feet better than Dansko shoes. I have owned at least a dozen pairs and always buy the 38 size. I was excited when this pair came in the mail. The first time I wore them they were fantastic. They are always comfortable right out of the box to stand all day in. Maybe just a tiny bit lose, but that's better than too tight. Each time I wore them after that, they seemed a bit bigger. Now they are just too loose to wear and they give me zero support. I'm a teacher and paying the price for good shoes is a sacrifice. I'm wondering if Dansko will give me a credit towards buying a size 37 in these or somehow make this right?

A little tight in the toe area, but with some wear it stretched enough to be comfortable. They look like a higher heel than they actually are (which I like) and I always get compliments. The ankle velcro is good quality and lines up fine, and is comfortable, but is a little loose. Overall I am very pleased.

I really like them and chose to suffer through some breaking in, but they are very narrow. If your feet have any width to them at all, either choose a different pair and plan on stretching them out.

These are not as comfy as I like my shoes to be, especially my danskos, but they do have a lot more flair. They are very tight in the toe box (I have average width feet) and the do stretch out a bit over time, but toes are squished for sure. They make me feel tall and good, and they are supportive - but they are not an everyday comfort shoe.

Still breaking them in and somewhat painful right now. However, they seem to be a good fit and should eventually be comfortable enough to wear for an extended period of time. Love the style!UPDATE: After wearing them a few times they are incredible. I had to wear them around the house in socks in order to loosen them up enough. Once they were, they are very comfortable on and very stylish!

These shoes are stylish, comfortable, and I just love them. Unfortunately I bought the taupe pair before the black, and one of the shoes was sooo tight, an obvious factory flaw (Direct from The Walking Company). Im so glad these did,t have that flaw. I'll live in these this summer. Love these shoes.

I live these. I have plantar fasciatis and have a hard time with shoes. These fit very well and I live the adjustable velcro straps. The look adorable while also being very comfortable. They do need a few wears to stretch and become less stiff.

Great shoes. Fit true to size. Extremely comfortable. Love the velcro.
