Buy this, Flavacol, and Snappy butter burst oil and you have 100% authentic movie theater popcorn. The combination of these three are amazing.-1 tbsp of coconut oil in the popper. Let it melt.-Add 1/2 tsp of Flavocol into the oil in the popper. Let it mix.-Add 1/3 cup of popcorn seeds.-Melt 1 tbsp of Snappy butter burst oil in the microwave.-Drizzle the Snappy butter over the popped popcorn.-Pass out from being so excited to have just made the best popcorn ever.

I was excited to follow the recommendations posted here and bought it all! A special popper, popcorn, the Flavorcol and Snappy Coconut Oil and had a Lord of the Rings weekend all planned for family and friends. We were so disappointed! The color makes you think it's going to be super buttery but it wasn't and we kept adding more Flavorcol, salt etc. It smelled strange so we threw it out and made runs to our theater all weekend to keep our crowd happy. The next family movie night we used this oil on the stove top and Flavorcol. We couldn't get it to taste right and had ice cream. After a few months I cleaned out the pantry and threw the Flavorcol as no-one had used it and the paper packaging is not airtight (we live in the south).Last week I noticed this oil and opened it and the color is just so... orange I can't use it for cooking, so I just dumped it. When it showed up in my Amazon list today (how did they know) I felt I should write something when I saw the same enticing review that I emulated is from 2014. I really tried! I love movie popcorn! We do use organic coconut oil now for popping corn, but stove top, Orville, a little butter and salt is still the best for us.

This product is a yellow liquid at room temperature (77 or 78 Deg. F.). It is a solid, when refrigerated, but it takes forever to melt in the microwave in that case. I feel that the butter-like feel on the tongue would be better with a product that is actually solid at room temp.

use this with my great northern stove top popper - makes the popcorn so good, like the movies. We are popcorn snobs, but were spending too much money driving to the theater to buy their popcorn and not even staying for the movie. This helps to alleviate that problem. Love it.

I've read lots of reviews about different brands and his one worked for my personal use. I didn't need a gallon of it so I tried this smaller one and it's great. If ordering during the warmer months it is a bit messy as the normally solid turns into liquid and makes a mess of the box but it's a great taste!

works great for our popcorn machine, i mixed it with flavacol, few pumps of snappy popcorn butter burst and orville gourmet popcorn kernel. And it just taste and smells like the movie theater porpcorn. will buy it again!
