I bought one of these years ago, its quality was better it was heavier Duty I gave this one to to my best friend for her birthday, I didn't want to go cheap, however it seems like I did. The first time she used it the paint had already worn off the barrel by the Third ringlet she had created. No the paint didn't come completely off the whole thing just around the edges but still my original one didn't do that until 3 months of use. These just aren't made the way they used to be there a lot lighter that paint is a lot thinner or not applied as well, and I don't know for sure but I don't think that the heating element part is actually ceramic it doesn't move or smooth the way that my original one does also. I give it a three star cuz I was disappointed in the quality and the amount of money I had to pay for it.

Bought this for my girlfriend years and years ago and it held up very well. She dropped it off of the counter and it cracked. Then being clumsy she dropped it again and it finally broke. She loved that thing with all her heart. I recently cut my hair and I had a red PYT, so I just gave her mine and I've had mine for 2 years longer than her! They are great straighteners! Even after 6 years, they heat up quick, the plates glide nicely and it doesn't leave creases in your hair. Way better than CHI or any other expensive straighteners you see on tv.

Its a beautiful straightener and it does straighten my hair BUT I will be 1000% honest, this item is NOT worth the price.. I have to constantly pass the iron on my hair for it to get super straight as I want, irons on high, and my hairs short and super thin ..... I could've bought an iron from walmart or walgreens that would make my hair better than this... But the brand PYT is really expensive and suppose to work what is worth and the pony iron just looks so cute and Ive been needing a straightener .. But FROM experience (bc ive used it already 3xs) its a 3.5 star from me. And a 1 out of 5star for the price ....

A few years ago I shelled out roughly 500 bucks for this and a curling iron (they threw in a 2nd flat iron, which I gave to my sister, and some hair product for "free"). I didn't feel too bad about spending that much money because it was the best flat iron I had ever used. A few weeks ago it fell off my vanity and the ceramic plate broke. I didn't have the patience to try to get a new one through the lifetime warranty so I was ecstatic to find that I could buy it on Amazon with Prime shipping no less. I got it and used it and it works just as well as my first. Never again will I go to the mall kiosk to buy this product. I might even purchase another one in the near future just in case it isn't available on Amazon by the time this iron breaks.

They did a really good job of making the iron look like the real thing but it's not. It's made of plastic and not at all like the original PYT iron. Fried my hair completely and smells chemical-y. Do not waste your money girls/guys 👎 Other than that the seller was prompt with my order

I have never been so disappointed in a flat iron. I’ve had this brand of flat iron I buy a new one every two years because I use it almost everyday something happens wether it’s the wire or one of the plates chip.I bought this flat iron in NOVEMBER. It is now the 1st of March & ots not working. Now what’s weird is I just had a baby (she’s 8 months today) now with that being said I do my hair about once a week twice if I’m lucky. & there’s nothing physically wrong with the flat iron however it’s not getting hot anymore it’s on the highest setting & had just stopped working. It was working great when I first got it now for the past two weeks it’s not. I’m hoping I made a mistake & bought the wrong one but I mean it looks the same this one is just colorful. Super disappointed. Now to spend another $100 when I should’ve had more time.

I was hesitant to purchase this due to some of the reviews that made it seem like it was a knock off. I loved my prior one and had it with no problems for about 10 years but unfortunately I dropped it and it broke. I finally ordered this and am very happy I did. So far it works beautifully, heats up fast, and I hope I can get as much time from this iron as the last. Appears authentic to me and highly recommend.

I have had this brand of straightener for some years now and I love it! This one I purchased for my daughter since she kept using mine and wanting to take it when she was gone on weekends. She loved the atmosphere theme along with having her own straightener! She also used it to spot iron part of her dress when she was away at a wedding. Thinking outside the box.
