This case is only compatible with iPad Mini 1,iPad Mini 2,iPad Mini 3. Not for other iPad models.

I have a screen protector in place on iPad mini1, if I place the iPad in the case ,will it fit and would the buttons works with 2 screen protectors ?

It should fit aslong as the existing screen protector isn't too thick. To use it with 2 screen protectors you make need to increase the touch sensitivity.
