Great value, full function & quiet!
I was looking for my first watch winder and was surprised at the cost of most units with their fancy woodwork & designs. I was looking for something more basic & practical to simply keep my watches wound and ready to go at any time. This Versa unit seemed to suit my needs. Now that I've been using the unit for a couple of weeks, I am very pleased with the purchase. This winder has several options for keeping your watches wound with 4 settings for turns per day as well as 3 for spin direction, clockwise, counterclockwise & both directions. Some reviews indicated that their unit doesn't spin all the time, that's because it's not supposed to. It spins for set durations during the day in the direction you set for the turns per day you set. Turning constantly would overwind your timepiece. This unit fit my needs perfectly and is very quiet especially with the door closed. I like the look as well as the black color looks contemporary and matches my decor. I'm very pleased with this purchase and will be buying another since it's already full with 4 timepieces. Great value relative to most other winders I see in the market.

Best winder for the money
I have quite a number of Versa winders, from their single watch (6), to their dual watch (2), and quad (2) winders. The oldest one I have is 6 years old and it still runs like a champ This is my 2nd quad winder. You can't beat the price compared to the high end luxury winders, and they work very well. You can select turns-per-day and direction of turns (CW, CCW, Both). On the multi-watch winders, each watch has it's own setting, too. They are also very quiet. I have them next to my bed and on my headboard. I never hear them at night. The winder is programmed to rotate a certain number of times, then it stops. It repeat this brief winding cycle throughout the day for the set number of turns. This saves overwinding the watch and avoids putting too much stress on the winding mechanism inside the watch. I have never had any of these winders damage my watches.I rely on these winders because I have watches that are difficult to set (perpetual calendar). I don't want those to ever wind-down and I know I'll forget it if I was to do it myself.

Great for the Price.
Very little to complain about in the functionality department. My only small gripe in that regard is that not long after purchase, it went from near dead silent, to making some faint noise. Mine is placed right next to my bed, and even there the noise is nowhere near enough to keep me awake. Sure it can be heard, but barely. Fortunately it does seem that the noise level immediately plateaued. For months there has been no discernible change or increase in noise level. The only thing I don't like about this winder is the overall look and materials. It is obviously built to a price point, and it shows in the appearance. Everything is hard plastic, and there is only a trace of any padding. For those looking for a luxurious winder, look elsewhere. For all of you looking for a good functional winder for watches worn in the real world, look no further.

Didn't last 2 years
This works perfectly! I have 4 automatic watches and now I can just grab and go. You set it for the lowest setting that keeps your watch fully wound. Its easy if you happen to have a watch with a power meter showing how much life is left in the watch. Just set it at the lowest setting and see it the gauge is full. If not increase the rotations. Simple. The winder is silent also. Love it!***Update***Well after 2 years the bottom 2 watch spots have stopped working. I emailed the company and all they could offer was a link on Amazon for new motors for $15.00 each. There are comments under the motor link that would lead me to believe that motor failure is a common problem. I always contact a company first before I put in a negative review. I would expect that a watch winder would last longer than 2 years. I would suggest anyone looking for a watch winder to buy a different brand.

Practical, cost effective & sleek watch winder.
It’s a practical winder, offers high value for money and it’s a great buy when your have a large collection of mechanical watches. I have a previous experience with Versa watch winders with a 2-watches winder & I needed this quad-watch winder as my collection got larger. There are minor issues that won’t be much of a problem when you’re looking for a reliable winder at low cost. This one has a hissing sound when it’s new but it will get a little bit louder by time. Also it’s all in plastic and it will never like a Wolf winder or anything premium. All in all, at this price point, this’s definitely one of the best options you can go for on Amazon.

Versa Quad Winder offers attractive pricing and features but......
This product's price and features (4 watch capacity with independently adjustable rotation) are attractive. Its reliability and warranty service, based on my personal experience with two of these Versa Winders, may be challenging. I had noisy motors in both winders. One of the winders progressed to the point of not consistently rotating 2 of my 4 watches. If a motor becomes noisy within the Amazon 30-day refund period, return it immediately as later on you are left only with the Versa warranty to fall back on. The Versa warranty is one year, will be honored by sellers but is not without customer cost (shipping in my malfunctioning winder for repair cost me $27), time (repair cycle is estimated at 10-15 workdays), but may possibly be avoided by requesting the Versa seller send you a motor repair kit at no charge. I failed at installing the new motor kit the first time but armed with that poor experience I think I could do it now. If you need a motor repair kit, insist that the Versa seller send you the motor repair kit with detailed directions. The motor repair kit is likely not too complex for a serious DYIer with electrical experience, but for the rest of us - insist on written directions to help you on the kit installation. If the repair kit is problematic, you may need to send it into the seller for repair.
