High percentage of defective products. Irresponsive customer service.
I lost over 20 hours reinstalling OS and updating software. Never thought that the RAM could be defective. They asked me to run Memtest86 and send pictures of the RAM. Memtest86 cannot even complete the test because of the vast amount of errors. They were supposed to get back to me within 2 days. I uploaded the pictures and test results 5 days ago. Still waiting to hear from them.CORSAIR should invest in quality control and customer service, instead of fancy looking PCB's and cooling fins; like any other decent RAM manufacturer.I will not touch a CORSAIR product ever again. No respectable brand sells untested RAM. Horrible.Edit. I had to call them after 6 days of no response. They said they'll deal with it. Still no response after 3 days. They have a ticket system that nobody checks on. Whatever you write or post goes to a black hole. You have to call them many times to get it done. It's been 11 days since my first contact, and yet, not a single action has been taken by them.Update after 6 months. I was finally able to have it replaced, but I had to pay for the replacement in advance. Otherwise, I'd have to wait 2-3 weeks without RAM. The only replacement they said they had was a model with LEDs. I paid over $200 for it. After 6 months, I was checking my credit card account, and noticed that they still have not refunded that $200+, even though I had sent them the defective RAM immediately. I just called them. They said they'll get back to me within 3-5 business days.I've lost many hours dealing with this horrible company, even though It is entirely their fault. They all see it when they look at the ticket number. Nobody apologizes. Nobody cares. They just happily drag it further.Update after 7 months. I still cannot get my refund back. I opened a BBB complaint. What a horrible company.

If you're buying DDR4 3600 C16 it's actually C18
I'm not rating this on the part itself, but rather the misleading product listing. This product is listed as: CORSAIR VENGEANCELPX16GB (2X 8GB) DDR4 3600(PC4-28800) C16 1.35V Desktop MemoryPart number is: CMK16GX4M2Z3600C18When I received the part, I noticed the C18 on the back of the box. I checked it with Corsair's site and sure enough it is listed as 3600 C18. I thought that the wrong part was sent but it turns out that this is the right part but it's C18 and not C16.

I can confirm that I am successfully running the on ...
I can confirm that I am successfully running the Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM 3200MHz C16 Desktop Memory Kit - White (CMK16GX4M2B3200C16W) on a MSI B350 Tomahawk at 3200Mhz. After MSI updated the BIOS on 4/26 I was able to achieve that speed. Before the update, I was able to get it to 2933Mhz. In BIOS I have the speed set to 3200 and the clocks set to 16 18 18 18 36 and the RAM voltage set to AUTO. When I manually set the voltage to 1.350 it did not work. Anyway, hoping this info is helpful for other buyers and obviously, I'm giving this RAM 5 stars for working as intended with my motherboard.UPDATE 5/11/17: I have lowered the speed to 2933Mhz. Several memory tests I ran were showing errors when running at 3200Mhz whereas the 2933Mhz is error free. I am running the latest BIOS (B350 TOMAHAWK (MS-7A34) V1.5 BIOS Release). Will retest at a higher speed when new BIOS updates come out.

This is the 2x8gb pack. Current description and pics are slightly confusing
It's RAM, it has heat spreaders, this is a 2x8gb kit (16gb total). The description and pics could be better, so here are actual pics of what ships when you order 1. Figured the spreader height might be useful to those planning on using monstrous heat sinks with their new skylake chip.Update 2017-Sept (2 years later) - The original kit is still working well in a system that is my daily use workstation (left on 24x7). I've since bought a half dozen more of these kits to use and have as yet run into a bad dimm. Mostly these have been put into Gigabyte Z170 & Z270 chipset boards and none have had an issue getting the advertised speed when using the XMP setting.

Depending on the version, it uses Hynix Chips
I got this for my Ryzen build, hearing that it uses Samsung B-Die which is the best compatible memory chips with Ryzen. Unfortunately my particular kit uses Hynix chips, which has the worst compatibility!I can't get it to run 3200MHz no matter what I do. So if you can, you probably had Samsung chips. If you want to check you can download a program called Thaiphoon that lets you know what chips you have on your RAM.Suffice it to say that I'm sorely disappointed, but it's not necessarily the RAMs fault.

Good ram!
Installed into my new Ryzen system with an AB350 Mobo, and 1500X CPU.PLEASE NOTE - This ram is advertised as 3000, but I found out that it is NOT technically 3000 out of the box, it is capable of speeds up to 3000, and only if you have the ability to overclock it in bios. IF you are using a MOBO with the right bios, you can literally switch a suitable OC setting on just by selection the OC profile. This is actually a lot easier and safer than it sounds as the AB350 gaming board I got has an easy to find option right on the first page under advanced memory settings. Just check a box, and selection profile 1, and my ram speed went from around 2200 to 2933. I suppose there is little noticeable difference in performance. However, if you are unlucky enough to have to be spending 200$ for ram, you better make sure you get every penny worth out of it!

Arnaque !!!

Snappy
I recently made a massive PC upgrade/overhaul, moving from an FX-8320 and FXA-990 mobo...to a R7 2700X and Gigabyte Aorus X470 Ultra Gaming. With that said, I also had to retire my 32GB HyperX DDR3 1600MHz CL10 RAM. I couldn't downgrade in RAM capacity, and intend to max out my mobo's DIMMs at some point. Judging by the "Verified Purchase", and this review, you can guess what I ultimately went with.Out of the box, you'll expect, and might be confused, as to why the RAM is running at 2133MHz. This is pretty standard. So you'll definitely need to go into your UEFI BIOS and select "XMP Profile 1" to ensure it's running at its best. It might vary on how/where you need to enable that. But I've decided to attach some images from my BIOS.Since I don't have other DDR4 to compare this to, I can't offer benchmarks. All in all, it's low profile, and even if it isn't RGB--it still looks great.

Sleek Ram with great performance.
This review is about the CORSAIR Vengeance LPX-16gb RAM 3000 Mhz (C15)These were coupled with an Ryzen 5 2600 and a MSI B450 Tomahawk. It worked greatly and without any problems, was easy to input into the motherboard and came packaged neatly and safely. It also looks good in your system with a black or white setup although it doesn’t come with RGB.This informational review is aimed for new PC builders. Therefore, if you are already knowledgeable in RAM there is no need to continue.1. (C15) refers to CAS Latency, which is how quickly your RAM responds to a command, you really won't see a difference at all between CL15 and CL16 although you will notice C15 is considerably more expensive as it is better in synthetic bench marks but you wouldn’t notice this in real world performance. Therefore get whichever one you want.2. Mhz refers to how fast the RAM performs. The speed of a computer processor, or CPU, is determined by the clock cycle. Computer processors can execute one or more instructions per clock cycle, depending on the type of processor. Therefore the higher Mhz the Ram outputs, the faster the RAM can perform tasks. (3000-3200Mhz is considered the sweet spot for mid-higher end workstation + gaming), any beyond this is overkill for your average needs and unecessary money spent.3. GB refers to Gigabytes: Some computer programs, especially Windows, uses RAM to swap frequently loaded programs back and forth, it makes the computer seem to run faster. Therefore in simple terms, the higher the GB the more tasks your system can perform at once before it starts slowing down your machine.Recap: What you want in your system for your needs1. Higher GB8GB is standard for workstation purposes and light gaming.16 GB recommended/a must for medium to higher end gaming.32 GB is for higher end computers, and unecessary unless you are doing a very heavy work load at once which requires it.(More GB = More tasks your machine can run at once)2. Mhz(3000-3200 is the sweet spot, nothing more is required unless necessary for your use).3. BrandBrands make their ram different. However Corsair is known for its tech, are very reputable and trustworthy, therefore they are a company you can depend on that make good quality products.4. (CAS Latency)Latency won’t be an issue, get which ever one is labelled cheaper as long as it has any of the above I mentioned.Happy building!

Welcome to the RAM Ranch
I was once like you - asking where I could just "download more RAM" whenever Google Chrome would take longer than 34 minutes to boot up. Running more than 3 programs was a problem, but not anymore. Thanks to Corsair, my rig is back with a Vengeance and opening so many Chrome tabs those of you with browser OCD would be nauseous. In my world, 16GB is plenty. I'm just trying to browse the web without throwing my fist through the drywall like my name is Kyle. Playing games is now smoother too, I don't have to worry about my Runescape client crashing while I'm scimitar deep in the KBD. If you're like me and need a few sticks of RAM, these are here for you like the anime GF we all wish we had.
