THIS IS WHAT THE FUTRE WILL LOOK LIKE!!!
I first read Mystic Warrior 18 months ago. I liked it so much I just reread it! (I don't usually do this.) The second time I appreciated it even more. There was more depth and I got a better sense of Alec Thorn's spiritual evolution.Mystic Warrior is my favorite kind of book – it reveals spiritual truths in the form of a fascinating story.Peaceful Warrior was a great book that also did this, over 30 years ago. The world has since changed. The old paradigm of slow, incremental awakening is gone. People are developing psychic abilities at an unprecedented rate. Mystic Warrior describes how skills like telepathy are emerging and how they are used in today’s world. In the book, Alec Thorn is beset with problems that force him to develop capabilities he didn’t know were possible. From my 30 plus years of experience in the spiritual world, I know these things are possible – I rely on them! For people who want to know what the future will look like, I encourage you to read Mystic Warrior. Awareness of what’s possible is the first step toward developing these capabilities.

Mystic Warrior Review Ed Spina’s literary work offers a fantastic opportunity to enter into a world where protagonists and antagonists alike use elements of preternatural powers in their ‘everyday life’; this allows the reader to experience the world where ‘Light’ engages ‘dark’ and wherein many elements of the supposed ‘Illuminati ‘lifestyle, mindset and control techniques can be observed in action to manipulate humanity for their own ends as the ‘exceptional’ becomes the ‘commonplace’ of daily life: telepathy, nuke blackmail, murder by mind-control, craft with anti-grav propulsion, etc. The seemingly separate life-streams of the characters are shown, then the reader follows the merging of their life paths into one unfolding dramatic adventure story as the ‘reluctant hero’ awakens to his new role and abilities (a story which is easily envisioned as a possible real-world happening in which ‘the names have been changed to protect the innocent’ - ???). One wonders how much of this ‘fictional’ tale is based on elements of reality, as well as how much of the epic is auto-biographical - only Ed knows and he ‘may never tell’! One thing is certain - once begun, few readers will be able to put down this text before finishing it!

Fun way to learn about mysticism in an exciting story
Fun to see what is capable to achieve spiritually I. A much more enjoyable way to learn about mysticism as well as a great story. Much can be learned about the mystic world and it has some of the basic teachings of mysticism. I would have liked to have a more detailed version of the teachings. This book did what I believe it was intended to do. It has my curiosity to learn more about modern day mystics.

Beyond Thrilling!
Beyond well-written and beyond a thrilling page turner, the author has thrown wide the door to humanity's possibilities to show what some already know as reality. Yes, one can travel out of body astrally to witness events in near and distant places while asleep or in a meditative state. Yes, remote viewing was Russia's secret military weapon at one time. But not so secret anymore. Yes, one can communicate telepathically and literally "hear" the voice of the individual with whom one is conversing. And while I was thrilled with the author's knowledge and how he spun it into an exciting tale, the chapter on 9-11 and how the hero traveled astrally to help his employee from the inferno keeps playing over and over in my mind. And I wonder, how many had the help of astral travelers during that disaster. The author's take on 9-ll rings true to my knowledge of events where individuals "volunteer" to give themselves to save the earth from more dire consequences. This is indeed a novel beyond time and space. It is a beacon of truth.

Slow Moving Fantasy Novel, not Spiritual
It's a stretch to call this "spiritual fiction," it's more of a fantasy novel. This book is poorly written, with repetitive language, shifting POVs, and ridiculous thought-reading processes. An editor could have helped point out some of these errors and also helped with the slow pace. I'm always looking for a good spiritual novel, and read lots of them, but unfortunately I found this novel extremely boring. I skipped the last 30% and only read the last chapter, because I just couldn't take it any more.Having said all this, other people seem to have enjoyed the book and have gotten some spiritual lessons from it, so maybe it's just not for me.What really bothered me, though, was in the Acknowledgments where Mr. Spina doesn't name the poor souls who had to read early versions of this drivel and provide feedback. It takes hours to read a book. Beta readers should be thanked by name. They did the author a huge favor. Unforgivable.

Interesting read
I enjoyed this book easy read good storyline fast paced. I was intrigued with the use of telepathy how long will it be until we are able to tap into these abilities.

Worth the price
Couple of clunky bits, and a complete non-sequitur in one section, but overall enjoyed the story and had fun reading it.
