PEScienceSelect Vegan Plant Based Protein Powder, Cinnamon Delight, 27 Serving, Pea and Brown Rice Blend

I’ve tried a lot of vegan protein(20+ different brands) over the yearsEg. Orgain, Vega, Truvani,Gainful, Ghost, Naked Pea, Sun warrior, KOS, Garden of Life, Ascent, Women’s Best, OWYN, Bowmar, Plant Jym —I mean the list goes on BUT THIS protein powder is by far the best one I’ve ever tried ..so much so that it’s become a staple and I don’t feel the need to try and find a better one . And the best thing is that it blends so well in oatmeal..which is hard to come by for protein powder in general let alone the vegan ones—it always taste like cement and stevia but this one is really good and have made me a fan of protein oatmeal (another train i couldn’t get on for years until i tried this)

Like the taste, easily mixed for shake or baking. Love the smaller packaging so stays fresh.

I'm a meat eater through and through and I normally supplement with Whey and Casein proteins. However, I also like to test out other plant based options so that I know what's available if a client asks my opinion on options. I've also began developing some digestive issues over the years that sometimes calls for a product that might be easier on my stomach.So, I had heard great reviews of the PEScience Select Vegan from some non-vegan reviewers and decided I'd give it a shot with a small order. One of the biggest problems with most plant based proteins is that they taste like you're eating grass. I've had some that taste like I put a glass of grass clippings in my mouth and had to spit it out. That wasn't the case here. The flavor listed was nice (it also came with samples of a couple of other flavors that were good as well). But, there's also an aftertaste that's a little funky. Definitely not what you'd normally get out of a plant protein, and I would probably adjust to it after a while, but it wasn't the most pleasant either. I want to say it was kind of a dirt flavor, but that might be a little too harsh. It was also very gritty, regardless of how much water was used or how much it was mixed. I do wonder if that would be alleviated by blending rather than just using a shaker. The first time I thought it might be the batch, but it was the same throughout the other samples that were included.All in all, I think for myself, being a meat eater who can handle dairy products, I probably wouldn't keep more than a sample around. But, I would recommend it to plant based eaters or those who can't have dairy with the caveat that they'll have to adjust to that aftertaste (which is WAYYYY better than the grass taste of other options), and they'll have to handle the gritty texture. The great thing is that you can buy super small quantities to try it first and not be stuck with a huge tub you don't like. I've actually already recommended that to a couple of family members with IBS who are forced to eat cereal with water and need another option.

I haven't tried many protein powders, but this is definitely my favorite and I don't feel the need to try more. It has great flavor and is a lot of protein for few calories! The only thing is that it's slightly chalky if just mixed with water (or milk) but I imagine that's not an easy thing to get rid of in a protein powder, and it's certainly tolerable, just something to note for anyone who is texture-sensitive. I love adding this to fruit smoothies and I've made some delicious protein bars using this product too. I've tried adding it to oatmeal but it makes it super thick, I guess you just have to get the ratios right. Also, it's easier to mix in room temperature water, not cold.

Not my favorite. I can’t explain but it has a funky flavor.

I bought this small packet to see if I would like the product. Well, I do like it very much so I will be buying the large container of it when I finish this packet as I do like the flavor and it mixes well with the smoothies I make. I don't like whey protein as I don't like dairy products so I was glad to find this plant-based protein that also tastes good. Thanks for offering a small packet so that people don't have to buy a large container. That is very helpful in seeing if your customers like it or not without committing to buying a large one.

I’ve been searching for a plant based protein powder alternative for a few months. I love PEScience whey/casein powders (gourmet vanilla is probably my favorite protein powder of all time, so good!) so I figured I would try their vegan line. I used it in my overnight oats three times, each time tweaking the recipe slightly to see if that would help the taste and I just couldn’t mask the strange flavor. To me, it has a slight black licorice taste and that really makes it hard for me to stomach. I still love PEScience but unfortunately this one wasn’t a winner.

I am lactose and gluten intolerant so I needed a protein I could digest. This one has great flavor and blends easily. It is not chalky. I even add it to my cereal!

My favourite protein , my favourite flavour. Great price as well , much cheaper than in stores. In my opinion it’s the best vegan protein on the market hands down !

Great flavour and great nutritional value. This company understands that performance and irruption go hand-in-hand ! Flavour, odour, and texture are all good. Great to mix with almond/coconut milk !
