If you're looking for gym chalk, get this immediately, cuz you can't beat the value. Let's be honest, with the exception of those companies that add extra stuff like ~essential oils~ to their chalk, all gym chalk is just magnesium carbonate, even if they say it's "premium". So it's all about the bang for your buck, really, and this is it. I got the 2lb bucket. Came in a bag inside the bucket and the lid screws on rather than snapping, so very little chance for a potential spill. The chalk is packed in the bucket pretty densely, so when you first open it, it's like the world's fluffiest mega chalk block. It's amazing. Once you dig into it a bit it loosens up and you get a nice layer of loose chalk on top of the compacted block. I love it enough that I've started referring to the bucket as Lance and I'm getting chalk on my screen right now because I'm typing this between DL sets.

I run out of chalk as fast as I run out of gas in my car. So I have to replace my climbing chalk every 2 weeks. After years of climbing and experimenting with multiple brands, I have finally found my go-to chalk. Why is this chalk so good you may ask? Well it keeps my hands dry and does not cake like the usual cheap chalks. This stuff is good and better than the stuff that's way overpriced. Second best thing is that it is so damn cheap! I haven't bought chalk in a month which is good for me. I took this chalk outdoor climbing and indoor climbing and I approve. It's fluffy, quality, and now I might just free solo because my confidence is through the roof.

The major pro of this chalk is the price point. It's super cheap.It coats the hands with a pretty thick layer. I found it works fine short boulders or in cold conditions.However, when my hands start to sweat a bit more, it seems to become really slick. So I wouldn't use it for longer boulders, roped climbs, or hot weather climbing.

The price was good for the quantity I received. I just wish this product was not discontinued. I would of loved to purchase again for my needs.

I did not expect it to come with this much of chalk for 2 lbs. the bucket is a plastic bucket, it feels stable. The chalk sits in a plastic bag in the bucket. It didn’t come with anything to scoop it (or I haven’t found it yet), luckily I have extra protein shake scoops, so I used one of those.The chalk feels smooth, didn’t really see much clumps. One thing I need to point out is that when it’s being used, sometimes the chalk falls right off my hands, it is difficult to stay on my hands occasionally. But this much chalk is worth the money.

Great price, great product.I nearly purchased 20 buckets because then I would have a lifetime supply and I would never have to worry about buying it again in my life and any other price increases.The only thing that stopped me was finding storage for this.10/10 will buy again when I run out.

Not sure why you need to read a review on gym chalk to make a purchase, or why im even writing a review for that matter. Its loose chalk in a bucket. I bought this because it was cheap. No fancy minerals to make your hands soft, just chalk. It dries the hands as expected... I like the logo. There, thats something, the logo on the bucket looks nice, reminds me of baseball or something. Support good logos and buy this cheap bucket of chalk.

It’s good quality chalk I couldn’t believe the difference in this chalk and my old one I didn’t think that would be a real noticeable difference but you can feel a difference. Use the chalk for shot put and it works really well for grip.
