Perfect Release.
This is a great release. The trigger is crisp and it's overall very well made. The trigger is EXTREMELY sensitive. If this is not your preference take a look at the Scott Rhino XT.The picture Amazon has is actually out of date. The red hook/trigger is an older revision. The current revision that Amazon is shipping has the silver hook and black trigger. The current version is stronger, and the hook auto resets after each shot. You no longer have to push it back into place.Another note. Those that say the strap is too small must have crazy fat wrists, or must like it around the wide part of their hand. I have larger than average wrists and I'm using the center hole of the seven.

not safe
This thing is very very dangerous. Doesn't have nearly enough of a hook to attach to your loop. Had to put my finger on the tip of the hook just to feel safe it wasn't going to slide off the loop. Had a couple quarter draw miss fires and one when I released a draw. Trigger is very nice however. The buckle could be a little nicer also.

Nice release!
If you need a short arm release that goes when you say 'go', this is it. Thumb release torqued my bowstring when i got to anchor position; however, this dude swivels, eliminating that problem. Another plus is that it straps to your wrist, obviously, so no worries fumbling with it in your jacket pocket and nearly dropping out of a tree. You get ready to shoot, it's right there where you want it and need it. It's quiet and smooth.Only drawback i have is the wrist strap, itself. Mine is already showing some wear, so if you do alot of shooting/ practicing (which any bowhunter should continually, imo), might want to consider a new strap at the end of season.

TO SMALL
This is a good quality product but it is too short to use comfortably like the one guy side. If you have big hands this is not for you. I shoot a Scott's all my life and love them but on this one I would not recommend it to some one with big hands.

Reds gear sent the black and silver version not black and red
This is a great release but the picture is wrong.....it's got a black trigger bat and silver fang......was a little disappointed.....but it doesn't affect the actual product.

i love it
I shot fingers my entire life. At 36 I decided it was time for a new bow, and bow options for finger shooters are extremely limited. My friend has this release and he let me shoot his bow with it before I purchased a bow. I fired a half dozen arrows with it and was very accurate. Now that I have used it for a full season, I wouldn't use another release. It's fast, it's smooth, and the sensitivity adjustment can be set to where it will about go off if you breathe on it. I recommend this for shooters of all skill level. I have let other long time release users try this, and they were also impressed with it.

Smooth Shooter
I have used a few different releases, but I finally got the chance to use a Scott release. All the hype is legitimate. This is the smoothest release I have ever used. It is awesome for 3-D shooting. Hunting with it takes practice to hook your loop without looking down, but not that big of an issue. I would recommend this to any level bow hunter. One thing I would add is that if you have a big wrist make sure to get a larger wrist band than the standard, especially if you are wearing gloves.
