This dining room set was so easy to put together and is real nice and solid! Definitely the least painful assembly of furniture I have ever done and it looks great!! Worth the money in my opinion. It also got here super fast!

Set looks as good as the more expensive dining sets in the $2K-$4k range it isn't quite the same because of the woods used but in the <$1K range it is exceptional. Most table tops are a veneer with what appears to be MDF this is solid rubber wood. I prefer a solid top so that is a big plus for me. Needed a 3x5 size table without a bench so that limited choices but this one is perfect for our needs. Comes with 6 padded chairs which are sturdy and comfortable. Also chairs are rated to 300 pounds not 250 like most out there I am close to 300 so that is a plus. Table weighs in at over 70 pounds so not a light weight piece of furniture. So far no issues with scratches or dents from daily use. Since it is constructed of planks there is a variation in the grain under the finish which I also like.Bought from a 3rd party on Amazon and order indicated it was shipping from them via LTL and I would receive a phone call to schedule. That usually means a couple of weeks to deliver. Turns out this was drop shipped from East West Furniture in Houston TX and shipped via Fedex. Ordered the evening of 2/11 table delivered 2/14 and chairs on 2/15. Total of 4 boxes table GW about 86 pounds each box of 2 chairs at about 36 pounds. Having read reviews of the supplier and seeing a number of complaints about damaged furniture being received was concerned. Boxes arrived in near pristine shape only 1 little scuff on the side of the table that isn't very noticeable. Looks like a piece of the packing styrofoam broke and scuffed the table somehow. Made in Vietnam and shipped half way around the world so great packaging.Assembly was straight forward and not difficult. A small allan wrench is provided which would work but would take quite a while. I have a ratcheting screwdriver with a socket head so was able to drop in the right size allan bit which really speeds up assembly-recommend that or a variable speed drill. I have assembled a number of furniture items made in China, through the years, and the quality of the hardware was generally subpar. Screw heads rounded out easily etc. The hardware to assemble this is all bolts except for 2 screws per each side brace on the chairs. Well made and sturdy had no issues with poor fit, rounding out of heads etc. Makes the job go a lot better and I feel comfortable that everything is securely put together. I also liked that each bolt has a lock washer and regular flat washer.Over all very please with the purchase and highly recommend this unit if you're looking for a lower price dining set.

I was hesitant to buy furniture online because I thought it would be a pain to return if I didn't like it. I decided to take a chance based on the reviews. I'm so glad I did!!! I wanted a small dining set for my dining room. This is way better quality than what I saw at IKEA; I would say it's on par with Ashley. I'm very impressed with the quality at this price point. The table is solid wood and very sturdy. The chairs are smaller but equally sturdy. Assembly was very easy. I was told this would arrive Fri-Mon, but it actually showed up at my house early on Thu. I would definitely order from East-West Furniture again.

When the set arrives, it seems a bit daunting with all the boxes and pieces but was quite easy to assemble. Once I put together one chair, the rest went very quickly. It is a great quality and very sturdy and I'm sure we will be using this for years to come. Great size too for a smaller apartment space.

I purchased the black Norfolk 7-piece kitchen table and 6 chairs set for my large dining nook. I don't have a formal dining room, so I wanted a casual set large enough for entertaining and sturdy enough for everyday use. This set more than meets my criteria. Directions for assembly were clear and minimal; my son began at noon, and by 1:30 I had a beautiful casual table and six chairs. It's a solid set and appears well made. The finish is fair, but not the dark glossy black I'd hoped for). That is to say, the wood grain is visible on some surfaces, especially the chairs. Delivery took about a week; however, the company did call several days in advance to confirm delivery date/time. The only problem was that there was a lone driver/deliverer, and because the set was so heavy, I had to call my son to help him carry the boxes into the house. Fortunately, my son was available to do so; otherwise, the driver said he'd have had to call for a helper, who could have taken up to an hour to arrive (What?). Overall, I'm pleased with the product, though at $695, it's priced on the high end for what it is.

The finish is perfect, it provides consistent theme to my house, i have other brown furniture so i was very selective of color and it perfectly blend with other furniture and definitely a good quality. Saved me lot of $$ from buying overpriced product from Ashley or other prominent stores.

As much as I love this table and chairs, beware that your products might be covered in MOLD!! I was actually disgusted when I opened it and saw this. It was on all 6 chairs. Thankfully, I was able to clean them up and no mold has grown back but this is unacceptable and disgusting.
