Joules Women's Evedon Rain Boot

I just received these boots today and they are so much more beautiful in person, they are high quality. My normal shoe size is 8 and therfore I went with a size 8 and they fit well, they did leave a little wiggle room, but to me I would say it makes it good enough for the option of using an insole and/or some thick socks! I don't consider myself to have skinny or big calves, more or less in between lol they hug my calves just right, the bow can be removable/replaced which gives the shaft area room for expansion. I have read previous reviews that indicated these boots withstood rain and snow so that definitely reassures my confidence in them. Overall I would definitely recommend these boots...I hope my long review aides in your decision making lol...happy shopping!

ADORABLE and comfortable!!! Best price found here (Amazon selling for less than 1/2 the price at other retailers) and just adorable! I get complements every time that I wear them! Better yet, I returned my Hunter boots as these are more comfortable - good arch support, not too big in the foot, a little shorter height. I ordered joules evedon in French navy.First thing, size. I wear a 7.5 and ordered an 8. A little space but a 7 would have been too small. With socks on (obviously) fits quite comfortably. They were thicker socks btw. Sturdy and well built, although they are surprisingly heavy boots, but I guess that's commonplace for wellies as I'm told by a friend who has hunter boots. Got so many compliments when wearing them, the bows are darling!!! I recommend these boots over and over again.

I typically don't write reviews, but these super cute rain boots were of such great quality, I felt compelled. I found that I preferred them in red, so I returned them (such an easy return process, as well), and can't wait to receive the new red ones in the coming days. As others have stated, they definitely run about a half size larger (my sz 9 felt like a 9.5), so adding insoles helped to secure my feet, and offered great cushion to boot (pun not intended. smile). What I also appreciated was that my fairly large calves were able to fit, unlike my experience with the Hunter boots; I am 5'8" so they hit about an inch or so below my knees for a comfortable fit. All-in-all, I definitely would recommend these to anyone on the fence about purchasing them--well worth the cost.

Ohhhhh, I love these boots! As soon as they arrived, I pranced around for hours in them! Almost 40? YUP! Dignity-be-damned! I usually wear 8.5 in flats and was nervous to order a straight size 8, but they fit perfect! I didn't expect the plaque at the front to be an honest to goodness plaque bolted on (my other, different style of Joules just has a sort of raised rubber design). I bought these for the warranty. I live in Seattle and wear my galoshes hard - to the dog park, back and forth to work, up and down our ridiculous hills and...basically all day, every day. I buy galoshes once every 3 months so have graduated to this expensive brand in the hopes that they last longer. We shall see! They do come with a 1 year warranty, which I'm excited about!

Super cute boots. Was skeptical about sizing after reading other reviews. I ended up ordering my true size. It was a little loose with a regular sock, but perfect for wearing big wool socks. I ended up ordering the liners too because the boots were cold, and there was just enough room for them. I don't agree with other reviews saying these run 1 size up. Winter boots are made for wearing big warm socks inside, and these leave just enough room for that. They are also not hard to get off as others have said- unless you are perhaps ordering a size down or have wider calves. With the liners in, they don't slip off as easily, but I wouldn't say they are hard to get off then either. The liners make for a more snug fit.

Let me start by saying I ordered “black rubber” not black-this means mine are completely black bow & boot. This is the one I wanted. The other has a gold bow and a brown top on the boot. These are much more feminine than other rain boots and don’t make your feet look like bricks! I’m a 7 1/2 or 8 always always when it comes to shoes and I read the reviews and went with a 7 and I’m so happy I did there’s STILL room for socks! The bows are great because they don’t stick out like a bow in a cheerleaders hair they actually lay soft and flat making them a beautiful delicate detail. These are more expensive because you really are getting quality. No rain entered my boots and they kept me warm and cozy. You’ll get tons of compliments

I have large calves, about 16 inches, I usually wear a 7 shoe, but I thought it best to order a size 8 to ensure they would fit my legs. I am happy with the fit. My toes have a bit of room, but the calves just fit. I can wear them with pants, but maybe not thick ones. You can adjust the bow, similar to a new jacket, there is a small thread holding the bow tied, but you can adjust the bow to give some extra room around your calves.I really enjoy wearing these boots. They are so cute and comfortable.

Received these today, much earlier than the planned delivery date. They are a dark olive green (look almost black), glossy finish, with a stylish top in a brown mottled pattern, finished with the Joules badge on the front and a lovely black ribbon bow. They fit perfectly, although I doubt I could wear thick wellie socks inside as there is no room round the top of my calves, but this isn't an issues for me. They are lovely and light, and the rubber is soft and flexible. They look very stylish. Looking forward to wearing them to point to point this weekend. Oh and the box is very pretty too, will find a use for it.

I wish for rain every day!! They are stunning everyone I pass looks at them and my friend who knows the brand well assures me I got an amazing price for them too, fit perfectly and so well made.

Beautiful boots, but far too small for my calves. Had to send them back.

It looks amazing and I love the colours. I have spent rainy weekends sightseeing and it was very confy and conveniently waterproof. With welly socks it get warmer, so it can also be used in a cold winter day.
