Needed to treat both sides of some 30 square metres of reclaimed floorboards for our new conservatory. The boards came from a nearby chapel, some of which were known to have woodworm and other issues. Hence even with careful selection, needed to treat the boards to be sure.Other well known wood treatment products would have been much more expensive, so decided to try this.It was delivered very promptly from Transtools in a naked large plastic canister, or bottle, about 460mm high, see picture (since removed, but now restored, by Amazon), which must weigh about 25kg.This was a lot cheaper than buying 5 x 5 litre cans of the same product.At first sight it looks good and has a low odour. If it does what is claimed for it, then it is very good value.I am assuming it is the same stuff as in the equivalent 5 litre cans, so have given it the same 5 star rating, but otherwise don't yet know how effective it is.

Excellent stuff used it on my large shed and decking. done 3 coats over a week and each time it they just looked better. Seems to have treated the wood well. would buy it again.

Great product does its job easy to use

I had a summerhouse built by a dodgy builder who was recommended to me. Less than a year later my very expensive summerhouse was leaking badly - I eventually had to rip up roof felt and try get to the root of the problem - I had paid for the wood to be treated but I could see that he had not treated it. The wood was mulchy! I used four coats of this - my summer house is 9m x9m - one of these is more than enough for four decent coats on that surface. The wood actually changed colour - you could see the difference. Not only that once the treatment had soaked in and dried the wood felt so much firmer - didn't feel like I was going to fall through the roof at any moment. I would definitely recommend this product - it does the job!

This stuff turned up in one 25ltr tall ish thin container. As a result when it turned up, the level of liquid was about 5 inches short of being full from the top. It must of fell over somewhere along its journey in the back of a transit van. For sure when it turned up it was not secured in any way, it was just sitting there.On the plus side though it was very Prompt delivery.

Three coats applied recently to log cabin - time will tell if this is an effective product. Since I ordered the 25 litres, it comes in large plastic container (with relevant labelling etc) - just beware that this is quite heavy when taking delivery.Easy to apply. Delivery on time. No complaints re service.
