Style is ok if you like obviously 'pre-worn' sections in odd non-wear places and other ...
Fit is fairly generous for the size (34" waist). Length is on the long side which suits me as I have longer legs (I'm 6'1 with 32.5" legs) but for some it will mean too long. Some 34" waist trousers are tight on me but these aren't even after washing at 90 to shrink them a bit.Style is ok if you like obviously 'pre-worn' sections in odd non-wear places and other wear areas not, so they don't look quite naturally worn, that's a personal choice. One cargo pocket on the left with another pouch-type pocket behind it, one long thin pocket (suits a smaller phone or longer tools) on the left with a small flap covered pocket on top.Pros: Well made and tough. Quality at a very reasonable price.Cons: High waistline is probably intended to prevent the unwanted 'builder's bumcrack' effect, however all it means is the waist slips down to your hips so the end result is 'builder's bumcrack' and unless you crank your belt up so tight you can't breathe you'll be hoiking them up every 5 minutes. The single cargo pocket has another inner pocket behind it secured by a popper, which keeps coming undone if you put heavy things in the cargo pocket,If you use the inner pocket for anything not flat it'll just make your leg sore as it's only thin cotton lined.I wouldn't really call these 'work-wear' trousers as they're short on pockets in the right places compared to most, although the pockets are turned in at the bottom for strength and they do have knee pad pockets, I'd say buy proper work wear, and Sruffs make good ones.If you want jeans for tough work you might like these or you might just be better off buying, well, jeans that fit you well with extra pockets, and wearing them for work. These are a compromise either way but they are cheap for what you get.

Perfect fit, usual great Scruffs quality, what's not to like?
I've lost a fair bit of weight this year and have dropped a waist size (down to a 32) and the time had come to replace my old Scruffs jeans as even with a tightened belt they were dropping off me. First thing I have to say is that the design has changed to the older version of these, in as far as the pockets are different. There are less pockets, no zipped 'condom pocket' on the right and no small slanted pocket above the left knee for example. This is a shame, as I really rather liked these - but not a deal killer. The quality remains the same though, and despite being a little wary over whether the 32R would fit I am glad to report the sizing is spot on - a perfect fit around the waist and the leg length in fact. I don't wear these for work, well I do but not as a tradesman (I'm a journalist by profession) rather I wear them as my everyday pants.

Great quality. Probably the best jeans I have bought in a while.
Bought these to wear while I paint my house. They are great quality. They have many pockets, the purpose of most escapes me. However, multiple pockets of unknown use has not diminished the enjoyment of the trousers. The fit is good. Please note that I normally wear 34 inch jeans and ordered 36 inch on the advice of another reviewer. They fit well on the waist, with a belt. The built in knee pad pockets, with knee pads, have come in very useful when painting skirting boards - with my bad knees :-). I paint every day, so wear them every day. Going to get another pair for non painting jobs.

comfortable and with useful pockets
Cheap, comfortable and with useful pockets. This is the second pair I have owned. I wear them with knee pads on site all day. The first pair wore through on the crotch after about 4 months of daily wear but given the fact that they are relatively inexpensive I don't think that unreasonable and I was happy to buy another pair.

does the job
I have worn these jeans on site for about a month now. They are comfortable and have good stitching for the most part; the ONLY issue i have found with them is on my left shin ( where the kneepad if placed) it seems to have worn where the Velcro is sewn and on one day caused discomfort from the rubbing.Overall good product and as testament i have since purchased another pair.

I like them
Comfortable to wear and great looking but depending on your trade the material on the knee won't last as long as the cordura on their other trousers. These are sized a little bit bigger than expected, 32/32 fit like 34/34 but would definitely buy again.

Better than my high street jeans by far!
These are so good it’s quite shocking!Always get compliments on them, they look more like a pair of designer jeans that are a little too big!Lots of useful pockets for any engineer, I like wearing these for service calls as they just look the part compared to the black scruffs.
