I'd been looking at getting a weighted blanket for months and was super excited to find one that wasn't way over my budget! The fabric is soft and it is well constructed. I use a sheet and then the blanket and it's sufficiently warm for me (though I do run warm when sleeping). Not sure yet If this will have to be put away for the summer. If considering this kind of purchase, I'd say go for it!Only slight hitch is the actual size of the blanket. I've been told your not supposed to share weighted blankets, as it's supposed to "hug" you. And I know they give the dimensions, so you can get a general idea of what you're getting...however looking at the image they supply with the lady cuddled under blanket...that must be a tiny lady, as the blanket is NOT that large. I'm 5'5" and it's sufficient for me and me alone...there is not that much extra top to bottom or side to side. So just be prepared, don't plan on sharing.

I struggle with depression and anxiety and lately I've been having nightmares that keep me from sleeping well during the night. I decided to try this weighted blanket because it had decent reviews and wasn't high-priced like the other ones I had looked at. Overall, it does what it's supposed to; weighs you down so you feel "grounded." What I didn't like was that it wasn't really a blanket. When I think of a blanket, I think of something that will keep you warm and use it to cuddle with. This one doesn't keep my arms warm unless I only have it on my arms. So I couldn't use this alone at night. Secondly, it's 15 lbs, which is kind of hard to handle. I wish there were built in handles on the outside or something so it would be easier to gather up and carry from room to room or to situate it on the bed better. I don't think I'll be using this for my whole body, as I felt somewhat restricted with trying to move around and twisting around to switch sleeping positions. But, it works when I just have it on my arms for sleeping...feels like a big hug...or if I'm sitting on the couch to read.

I bought this blanket (15 lb.) for restless leg syndrome and my inability to sleep through the night. Waking up every 1-2 hours left me exhausted. When a family member suggested a weighted blanket, I purchased this one after doing some research. I’m so glad I did! It really does relax me - I have been falling asleep faster, staying asleep longer and finally feeling like I’m getting the proper rest I need. It’s soft and very comfortable. I will be purchasing a duvet cover for it, just so I won’t have to wash it as often in order to extend the life of this miracle item. I recommend it to anyone who has issues with restless legs/feet or just needs a good night’s sleep in general. My only issue now is not wanting to get out of bed in the morning!

I love this blanket! I have a terrible time falling asleep & am often up for hours. This blanket provided an overall calming feeling to me and helped me relax quickly. I slept with it all night and thought it was amazing. It appears to be durable and well made and although I wasn't concerned with the color when I ordered it, I think it's a really pretty gray. I would definitely order again.

I am autistic and have anxiety, ADHD and have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, so I have a HARD time falling asleep and STAYING asleep. After only two nights of having this blanket, I've been sleeping better than I have in years. My legs aren't having restless twitching, my nerves are soothed, and I feel utterly relaxed and secure. I also sleep very hot, and this blanket was not too warm to be uncomfortable. I am not a fan of the texture of the fabric the blanket is made with, so I'm getting a cover for it, but otherwise this blanket was JUST what I needed!Update: much of the filler content has shifted to a few pockets and now the blanket isn't as effective. Very disappointed, I relied greatly on this for better sleep.

Dear Cuddlebug, So I read up on the blanket before buying According to what i read I ought to be under a 25 pound blanket. But I got a 15 pound blanket. I am 70 years old. There's no way I could turn over under a 25 lb blanket. I really like the weight on me, I am too warm. I keep my room as cold as I can, but it is close to not being enough and it is only spring. The blanket is remarkably well made, it is a great blanket and I really like it with the exception of being to warm.

I have wanted one of these for a couple years and I'm glad this is the one I picked. 15# seemed heavy but it's perfect! I sleep much more soundly and wake up feeling rested. Best Amazon purchase ever!!

Leider ist diese Decke eine Mogelpackung: weder enthält sie Glasperlen (stattdessen billiges Polyester), noch wurde sie, wie in der Beschreibung angegeben, nachhaltig in Europa gefertigt. Sie kommt aus China. Inwieweit man jetzt glauben kann, dass Handarbeit, soziale Verantwortung und Schutz der Umwelt (wie in der Produktbeschreibung versprochen) hier berücksichtigt werden, lass ich mal offen.Egal, ob das Produkt nun in der Wirkung tut, was es soll. Ich rate vom Kauf ab.

Gut verarbeitet, schneller erhalten als angekündigt - und nachdem sie jeder in der Familie ausprobiert hat, hat kein Weg daran vorbei geführt, sofort eine zweite zu bestellen! Herrlich angenehm und erholsam, nicht zu schwer und genau richtig warm. Ein erholsamer Traum! - Bearbeitet, um hinzuzufügen, dass ich jetzt bereits die dritte Decke bestelle!

Ich habe vor einigen Monaten schon eine Therapiedecke von einem anderen Anbieter auf Amazon gekauft und war sehr zufrieden damit. Daher wollte ich eine zweite jedoch günstigere Decke für meinen Freund kaufen. Ich bin jedoch über die schlechte Qualität (made in China?!?) und den dennoch immer noch hohen Preis für die Decke entsetzt. Sie hat einen komischen Geruch direkt beim auspacken gehabt und fühlt sich nicht gut an. Da nehme ich lieber die teurere Decke und habe ein gutes Gefühl beim schlafen für meinen Freund!Kann die Decke leider absolut nicht empfehlen.

After receiving my initial order of the Cuddlebug weighted blanket, I was very happy! It was a nice quality blanket and I loved the way it improved my sleep. I had a friend try my blanket while I was over for a visit and it helped her so much as well, that I gifted her the blanket, with the plan of simply ordering myself another one upon my return. Not only had the price gone up by €40 in 1 month, but upon delivery I got a very different quality product, even though the package looked and said the same. I'm not going to open the blankets up as I know the stitching is quite crucial in weighted blankets, but I'm 95% sure that the first blanket was filled with very fine glass beads, and the second one with cheaper, larger (poly plastic?) beads. The second blanket is noisier, awkward to handle and bulkier (doesn't stay in place as easy while at the same time being harder to move underneath) and affects the thermoregulation with my duvet a lot more (too hot - too cold underneath). The first blanket would've had me rate 5 stars all the way - the second one on the other hand... I'm very disappointed because the description of the blanket clearly says glass beads & to top things off I actually paid more the second time around, for an article of far less quality. And now my friend feels horrible over the fact I left her the 'good' blanket. I'd very much appreciate an honest description of an article and not selling people different things at seamingly arbitrary prices. I hope this was an unfortunate 'mistake' and either Amazon or Cuddlebug can exchange the second blanket for the correct, glass beads filled, one? I know Cuddlebbug has a quality product - it just didn't get delivered on my doorstep as promised the second time around...

Sie war schwerer als erwartet, aber trotzdem toll! Angenehme Stoffqualität (etwas kühl ohne Leintuch drunter!), sehr schöne Farbe, wärmt gut....es ist aber nicht das kuschelig-gemütlich-warme wie früher bei Omas dickem Federbett...brauchte 2-3 Nächte zum "eingewöhnen"...Meine Kids allerdings fanden sie sofort klasse!

El producto está mal construido. Por fuera se ve bien, la tela parece buena y tiene un tacto normal. El peso de la manta proviene de pequeñas bolitas de cristal de un par de milimetros de diametro aproximadamente que lleva en su interior (no la he visto por dentro, solo se notan al tacto y en las instrucciones dice que es cristal) .Para que las bolas no se muevan por todo lo largo y ancho de la manta esta viene cosida a cuadros (como se ve en las imagenes). Este cosido separa las bolas e impide que se muevan más allá del cuadro donde están. En teoría es un buen sistema.El problema es que está cosido de cualquier manera y las bolas no están repartidas de manera homogenea habiendo parches donde hay muchísimas y otros donde apenas hay. El resultado es que la manta es bastante incómoda.

Diese Therapiedecken sind absolut empfehlenswert, auch wenn es nicht etwas für JEDEN ist. Muß man halt ausprobieren. Ich komme hervorragend damit zurecht, habe diese Decke für eine Mitarbeiterin von mir bestellt, da diese unter Schlafstörungen und unruhigen Beinen leidet. Nach einer Eingewöhnungsphase von 10 Tagen geht es ihr sehr viel besser. Gleiche Erfahrungen habe ich auch gemacht. Vielleicht sollte man den Bezug vor dem Erstgebrauch 2 x waschen, er riecht ein wenig streng....

La mia prova é stata breve per il timore di rovinarla.L'amico che l'ha ricevuta ha molto gradito il pensiero e mi ha riferito di averla provata, trovando molto piacevole il senso di avvolgimento. In effetti la coperta fa sentire contenuti, come dentro ad un bozzolo. A me é piaciuta tantissimo e trovo sia un'idea regalo strepitosa per comunicare affetto.

die Decke hilft unserer 15jährigen Tochter, die mit einer Behinderung lebt, super beim einschlafen und durchschlafen, da das sanfte Gewicht der Decke die Körper-wahrnehmung fördert und sie sich somit besser spürt und somit viel besser zur Ruhe kommen und schlafen kann.Auch der Rest der Familie ist begeistert, wir überlegen noch eine zweite solche Decken anzuschaffen!

Ho acquistato questa coperta ponderata in quanto ero incuriosita circa gli effetti sul sonno. L'ho ordinata e rapidamente mi è stata recapitata. All'apertura della confezione ho notato che il tessuto e la manifattura erano ottimi e quindi l'ho stesa sul letto per la notte. Una volta provata è stato amore tanto che quest'anno, a Natale, ne regalerò ad amici e parenti. Molto soddisfatta!

Sur le moment, très heureux de mon achat, même si je pense avec le recul que la version que j'ai prise (7kgs) n'est pas la plus adaptée : j'aurais dû tenter plus lourd ! En tout cas, aide vraiment à s'apaiser et dormir, sans pour autant gêner... C'est surtout quand elle n'est plus là qu'on le sent !Problème cependant : la finition n'est pas parfaite : j'ai l'impression que de plus en plus les billes s'échappent d'un compartiment à l'autre, du coup le poids se retrouve assez mal réparti. Pour l'instant, fort heureusement, rien n'a fui à l'extérieur, mais les commentaires en anglais montrent que ça a l'air de se produire fréquemment. Le produit est dit garanti à vie, mais rien n'est expliqué pour bénéficier de ladite garantie, alors...Lorsque je l'ai achetée, elle m'a coûté une centaine d'euros ; le prix a désormais diminué de moitié, ce qui en fait sûrement un meilleur investissement. Mais si vous voulez un produit plus résistant, mieux vaut certainement tenter une marque plus chère ou du fait main. Pour le coup, je suis assez déçu : je pensais avoir acheté un produit "à vie", je me demande s'il durera plus de deux ans. :/

Dopo aver fatto qualche ricerca sui rimedi contro l’insonnia, mi sono imbattuta nelle coperte ponderate; ho fatto l’acquisto con scetticismo, ma spinta dal desiderio di porre rimedio alle notti insonni. Pesando 7 kg, la coperta è effettivamente costrittiva, ma adesso riesco a dormire senza interruzioni.Spedizione veloce, nonostante il peso, il pacco era intatto.

Mein Sohn (10 jahre) nutzt die decke zum einschlafen und kommt endlich besser zur ruhe. Wir sind begeistert!

The description of the article is wrong, this blanket does not have glass beads filling.It's polyester bead filling.That is very noisy, has a lumpy texture and feels overall very differently than glass bead filling.
