Bought as a gift . The recipient was very pleased

Placed some fairy lights around several different ones of these on my unit at Christmas. Very effective.

Lovely item

It's a very pretty house, it's not glazed and you have to be careful picking it up (as I did only to find the bottom is not attached and went skating off the table, luckily onto carpet). Apart from that I am really pleased with it.

I ordered two, to use in a Christmas dining table-scape but they both had defects around the doorway. The packaging does state that these are handmade items which may show small variations, but I wouldn't expect them to bear any obvious faults, front and centre, as this did. I would classify this as being a `second'. Apart from that, though, the item was very sweet. I also ordered other models in the range and found some of the windows to be out of true ie not well squared themselves or to others which they were supposed to be squared against and so in the end, went with a completely different manufacturer; a more English cottage type design house, of glazed ceramic inside and out (I didn't fancy my chances of cleaning any black from tea-lights off from the inside of the unglazed ceramic with so many cutouts in the roofs of these), with much neater windows overall ... beginning with E, available from Amazon.
