Remove the device from the foil pouch and remove the cap. Immerse the exposed strip area in urine sample for 10 seconds. Replace cap and wait 2 minutes. Compare the test strip to the included color chart to read the results of your pet's test. For Cats: Use the non-absorbent litter or clean gravel.Non-absorbent litter instructions: Simply pour the litter into a properly cleaned litter box. Tilt to collect the sample in the corner of the tray by directly dipping the device into the urine for testing, or use the transfer pipette to collect and dispense the sample into a cup or container for further testing. For dogs: Free catch in urine stream or with a container. Results:Negative Result: If the color of the reagent pad matches the color on the left column, also indicated as the NEGATIVE column, the test is negative.Repeat the test every 3 months as preventative care for your pet. If symptoms persist even after a negative result, contact your veterinarian. Positive Result: If the color (s) of any or all reagent pad match the color on the right columns, also indicated as the POSITIVE column, the test is positive.A positive result for any or all parameters is an indication of a Urinary Tract Infection.
