Stunning Set
Absolutely beautiful set! Well crafted and constructed board, solid wood. Bought as a present for my mother last year and she has been using it daily since. There has been no wear on it as of yet.The item comes in a beautiful box which is wrapped in a bow. Folding board and the box can act as a carry box to take it with you if you want to travel with it. Great fun for all the family!

I ordered a Jaques Draught Board Game thinking it would be extra special. Considering the price I was disappointed that it wasn’t any more special than a cheaper version. It was beautifully packed but the contents were not worth the price I paid

Excellent value and promptly despatched. I bought these as a gift for partner's brother who has Alzheimers; he loved playing when he was younger and he was very pleased with them. Only beef is that, because the draughts have a rounded edge, they do not engage very well with each other when 'kinging', but they are ok on a fairly stable surface.Have to congratulate Jaques on their presentation/packaging which is excellent. They are prettily tied with an embellished ribbon and need no further gift wrapping. Highly recommended.

My 6 year old grandson is learning chess, draughts is a easier game but the same sort of principles and much easier to learn.
