Mossy Oak Heat Seat with Back (Break-Up)

This is a good seat for hunting. I bought this to be a quick seat I could throw out when I wanted to sit on the ground without freezing my backside. For this, it works well. After a 1.5 hour sit in 35 degree weather, my butt was nice and warm while the parts of my legs resting on the ground were chilled. So...it works.Comfort is average for this type of chair, which is to say that it beats the heck out of sitting on the ground. But, you'll wish for more back support and to be elevated a little bit so your legs don't have to fold up. Adult men will also wish for a little height and width. This is the same for any of these chairs I've used. Quality is average, also, which means that I believe the straps will eventually rip.I also used this on top of a camp chair around a fire this weekend, and it really helps with the comfort and warmth. I can see this chair getting taken many places: icefishing, stadiums, picnics, camping.I'll probably take the other reviewers advice and add a piece of plywood to the back.

For most (turkey, dear, and varmint) hunters, a good light seat with some back support is a Godsend! This thing is too flimsy as is, so during turkey season I added an old foam seat that I had to the bottom through the zipper end. and a piece of 1/4" plywood to the back compartment (that was the same size as the back), then it was good! I had to reattach one strap half way through the season too. Some times I think companies don't do enough field tests before they put their stuff on the market, well, I know they don't, or else their field testers don't have the nerve, or abilities to report the truth. This unit is now usable, and worth the money.

I needed a seat for hunting to sit on the ground in the open fields that would give me some back support and keep my butt off the ground. There was not a lot to choose from so I purchased this. I was very disappointed! This is very cheaply made and does NOT provide good back support. It feels like you are going to fall back, lean to one side, or eventually it will break/tear. I started thinking about stadium seats and found "Coleman Stadium Seat" for $13.49 on Amazon and ordered one. THIS SEAT ROCKS! It is over half the cost and works great. Its not camo but think about it, you are sitting on the camo so what good does it really do. Just purchase the black one, when you sit on it, it will disappear anyway and you only have to pay $13 for a MUCH better product.

Used this for deer hunting in Pennsylvania cold. Sat on a small rock ledge but never felt the cold through the seat, either bottom or back. Both reflected my body heat back to me and kept me comfortable all day. And that's saying something because I get cold easy.

Just what my guide gear 16' ladder tree stand needed...and if I'm just stalking this is a great seat to stop next to a tree and sit a while. Great cushion...all i did was add a 1/4 inch ply wood to the back for better support. Love this seat
