I had just moved into a new home and I have a room that I wanted to make into a home office. I originally wanted a desk from Ikea but the dark grey color was no longer available. I surf around looking for a suitable replacement when I came across this desk. At first I wasn't sure because it was slightly smaller than what I was looking for but I did love the open concept and the simplicity of straight lines.I just got my desk today and I am pretty amazed at how easy it was to put together. Even came with a tube of glue to set the dowels. Once I finished putting it together and set it up in the spot by the windows. It is absolutely perfect. The chair opening is big. Bigger than I thought it would be as I am not a small woman and I wasn't sure if the opening would be too narrow. Looks are deceiving because I have a lot of room to even cross my legs underneath. Lastly, this desk is heavy. I thought it was the box that was just heavy with all the packaging. But the desk has some weight to it so it would budge easily.Overall, I am pretty pleased with this desk! It matches my home decor nicely and I can't wait for finishing setting up my home office to enjoy!

My only regret is I wish I would have purchased a different color. Desk is very sturdy. Originally this was purchased for my husband. He never used it. I basically started using it to play my handhelds at home. Very budget friendly. Was easy to put together. Gets dusty very easily. I wish it was a little wider. Can hold a huge monitor with no issues. Surface is space is limited.

I ordered the Weathered White. Its such a nice color and well blends with our wall. I wanted a color that doesn't stand out too much. I have a 27 inch Mac on the desk and 2 baskets from Walmart Mainstays Medium rope basket (about $10 each). It was easy to assemble and its pretty sturdy. The picture of a reviewer who has a pick rug seems the closest to the actual desk color.I contact the seller about the legs and the color as I noticed some pictures had painted legs and some had a veneer finish. Below is the response."The entire unit no matter what color looks all the same now for the past few years. Years ago, the legs used to be painted and the rest of the unit had a melamine veneer finish, now the entire unit has a melamine veneer finish.The sandstone color option is more of a white/gray color, and the weathered white is kind of a more lightened toned down version of light oak"I love it!

Setting this up was more frustrating than it should have been. The instructions are pretty clear and it should not be difficult to assemble, but some of the pre-drilled holes did not line up perfectly and others had significant bits of sawdust and wood chunks that needed to be picked out in order to fit pieces together correctly. The allan wrench included in my box was low quality--one side did not fit the screws/bolts very well.All of the wooden pieces came in good condition overall, but there are some small specs of paint, or chips in the finish, but I guess that is to be expected for discount furniture. I think this desk is worth the price, it's sturdy, looks pretty nice, and is pretty easy to set up all things considered. If you're looking for function, as opposed to elegance, this is a good piece. Just be prepared to encounter a couple small annoyances during assembly.

this might be the best amazon purchase i’ve ever made! i was looking for a desk/table to sew at. due to space limitations, i had to set up my new sewing machine in my living room so i wanted a nice-looking piece of furniture that was small but sturdy. this is exactly what i was looking for and is SO perfect for what i needed. i can hardly believe the price was so low! it’s very solid and sturdy and it looks and feels like an expensive and high quality piece of furniture.

The desk is very easy to assemble and nice heavy wood . I am very happy with my purchase. I contacted the company because one corner of the desk was smashed and 10 minutes later I got an email and they will be sending out a replacement desk top. Great customer service!!!! I was impressed, not to many Companies are quick to respond….Thank you again Convenience Concept !!

I read many reviews before buying this desk. It seems you are taking a chance no matter what you buy online these days, and I saw where some people had quality issues Having taken the chance, I LOVE this desk. I put it together myself. I am an older lady with back pain and joint issues in my hands. It took a little time on my own so I just did it at my own pace. As you can see, my bookshelves are on the right, with the bar in the back, so perhaps I got the assembly wrong somehow, but it turned out perfectly just the same. It's a sturdy clean desk. It came well packaged, brand new with no chips or dents. My monitor is about 24 inches and I have room for the keyboard and mouse pad on top, as well as my cell phone holder. You cannot fit a tower or printer on the shelves. They don't appear big enough for anything except accessories or supplies. My speaker is a perfect fit on the bottom shelf and that's my 10 inch Kindle in the middle, if that helps you get an idea of the size. I love it and I gave it 5 stars. It's a great desk for a small space. I hope this review is helpful to you.

Easy to assemble, super cute, my daughter absolutely loves it. The shelves are perfect.

I highly recommend this beautiful trellis desk! I’ve assembled dozens of other furniture and this was the most well packaged and comprehensible assembly ever. Way better than IKEA! The box was fairly beat up when it arrived but all aspects of the desk were well packaged and preserved. No scratches or dents. I think this has been my MOST successful purchase on amazon! Due to COVID19 the desk was a bit delayed but communication between the company was excellent and it was well worth the wait. I’ll be shopping with Convenience Concepts again in the future :)

This is not an Ikea table. They gave us all the tools and supplies we needs, plus extra just in case. They also sent us wood glue. My husband said it was very easy to assemble and the table is sturdy. There is no rocking while I am working and the wood looks like it can take a beating. I am very happy..

Great desk. Good size and easy to put together.

So I want to give this desk 5 stars but.. the box it came in was disgraceful. I took pictures before I opened it assuming for sure it would be damaged. To my shock it was not damaged. The desk is really nice and sturdy and I built it alone in an hour. Diredrikns were fairly straight forward. So I would recommend it for sure, I would also like to suggest the packaging be looked at before it ships out.

Great value and it’s totally useable. Doesn’t make your office, but looks decent.
