A promise fulfilled
Years ago, back in the 80s, the movie Labyrinth came out. That movie featured this amazing little character, and my sister fell in love with him. We were in a mall greeting card store (that used to be a thing), and my sister found a bona fide Sir Didymus stuffed animal. It was about $80,000 US at the time (only slight exaggeration), so I hid it in hopes that I could come back someday to purchase it for her. Little did I know, that our dad had gone back later THAT SAME DAY to find it, and couldn’t find it because I had hid it. It was my fault that she didn’t get it. The original stuffed animal has been listed on other major online retailers, over the years, for an orc’s ransom. When I found this one, I was thrilled. I ordered it right away, and had it sent to my sister. Needless to say, it was emotional closure for something that I always wanted for her. She says it’s great. It was nice enough quality- not as good as the original, but a close second. So, order this one before your chance is gone.

Adorable but not Sharable with Toddlers
First off I love him! I've been waiting 25 years for a sir didymus plush but he is definitely not for children, just in the fact that he is pretty fragile (his feather could be ripped off with ease as well as his buttons) and his eye patch is adjustable which I love so you can tell he does have an eye under there but I can see my toddler messing that up easily too. I bought it for myself but was hoping my daughter could play with it but that doesn't look to be the case (as I definitely dont want him ruined). Maybe I'll just buy her her own once she gets past the putting things I'm her mouth stage...

Fox of Eternal Stench
Decided to return it bc it reeked. It smelled like a ferret that died. I dont know if it's just the material or what. But I let it air out a bit thinking it would go away - huge mistake. The stench stunk up my room. I dont know if something happened to it or what but it was shipped w something else that was perfectly fine. Still despite the stench not worth it for the price as it seems very fragile and the feather on his hat was barely hanging on.

Finally have it after 14 years!
This came out in 2006 and I regretted not buying it. Since then, Ludo, the Worm, and the Fiery were released and I jumped on them. I am the biggest, most hardcore Labyrinth fan you will ever meet. Sir Didymus completes the collection for my Labyrinth-themed nursery - and I’m not even pregnant yet. That’s how crazy I am. He’s perfect! I’m hoping they’ll release a Hoggle - maybe for the 35th anniversary when it rolls around. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
