Works great but takes overnight

Used this to restore an old antique firearm. Cleared the rust off like magic. Worked just as advertised and was quite happy with the results. Mixed it with a gallon of water as directed. Soaked the parts for 48 hours as they were pretty bad. Metal comes out gray, needs wiping off and rubbing down, but results were quite impressive. I will certainly use it again as needed.

Works great on mild rust. Cleaned up my transmission bolts like magic!

I realllllly needed this to work. I had an antique coffee can, lots of red, and an antique glass coffee jar lid, mostly red, both covered with rust spots, much more severe on the can. I received this, followed instructions carefully after also watching as many of the videos available. It seemed like if i watched it and only used it a short time i could soak the lid and get the rust off without damaging the red paint much or at all according to some sites. Ya, no. It took ALL the red off of the lid, and the rust, within an hour.The can on the other hand, had been sprayed with a type of unknown clear coat. It was purchased on ebay and seller didn't know what the clear coat was. Soaked it for days, one, then two, then three, then four. Nope. This, even after i emailed the manufacturer to tell them about the clear coat and to ask if i should attempt to remove that first and if the product would work then. They indicated that there was no need to remove clear coat first, that it would work on the rust regardless. Ya, no. Oddly, there was a hole about the size of a quarter on the top of the can so the product could go inside and completely submerge the can inside and out. I thought that even though it wasn't working on the outside of the can, getting the rust under the clear coat, it would surely get the rust on the inside of the can which didn't have the clear coat. Ya, no. hardly at all. Maybe a little bit. I was frankly, after watching all those videos, so surprised at these results. Thought this review might help someone in similar circumstances.

I feel that Amazon must have every item state where it was manufactured. I do not buy from China if I know!
