Used switch to power between car charger and heater. Used a bigger junction box, but switch functionality was super and worked as intended. 👍🏻

Used in an RV Solar setup, two inputs to ( shore and inverter) one output. No instructions, but I used jumper wires on one side (output), putting the shore and inverter input wires on the other, top and bottom respectively. So far the setup works for my needs.

This is my attempt to answer one of the questions regarding a schematic for this switch. My diagram is pretty cheesy but hopefully it illustrates what terminals are linked for each of the 3 switch positions. I am using this switch for my home to select between Edison power and my backup generator. It is a break-before-make switch so it is perfectly acceptable for this use. I use the 3 terminals for hot-neutral-hot in single phase 220V. But you could also use it for the 3 hots in 3-phase. The thing that is best about this switch is also the thing that is worst, and is the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars. It is the thing that Nathan noted in his review: the enclosure is EXTREMELY compact. This looks great on the wall of my garage, but it is absolute hell to get all those 6 or 8 ga wires connected and into the box. I couldnt do it with the existing punchouts. I had to cut additional larger holes. Otherwise, its a great switch.

Arrived in one piece. Smartly, though, screws, caps, mounting bracket are kept all together in the plastic case. While the function is self-explanatory - who needs a instruction sheet - it would be reassuring to have one. Looking forward to using this three position switch! For your next customer, Amazon, if you see a loose flap, tape it! Now installed. Used for EV level 2 charging for choice of two sources of power. Works like a charm!

This is useful for switching between inputs, outputs, single or split phase, depending on how you choose to wire it. The terminal screws are pretty heavy duty, no issues with connections. Mounts easy, holes for wires already there and the grommets included.

Able to set up switch as a changeover between two kilns. Had to put jumpers on the right side terminals, and then wire each kiln to the left side terminals. For 6 gauge wire, the box is a bit small and it was very difficult to get the wires secured and seat the switch in the box. Switch seems sturdy, but could feel the strain on the assembly when trying to seat it in the box. So far, wires remained secure and switch appears to be working. Will have a full firing cycle later this Spring and can update later.

Worked perfect for setting up my RV inverter to power both legs of the AC panel when switched to the number 2 position. Number one position just feeds one side of the panel when plugged in to a 50 amp service. Wiring instructions are readily available on YouTube.

Works great for our electric car charger. Our circuit breaker did not have enough amperage. So I made it to where you can either run the dryer or charge the car. If I had to do it again I would get one with a bigger box, because it was a pain to close with the wires.

Have a garage 5000w heater but also a room with 2x 1500w heaters. Wiring is 10-2 30Amp. That allows me to choose which one i want to feed Sturdy, high quality.

Perfect for my offered power to switch between generator and solar.

J'ai du refaire les adaptateurs de connexion des fils car ils ne serrait pas convenablement et ça devenait pas très sécuritaire et les contact sont vraiment très petit pour 63 Amp. je conseil mettre la connexion du tambour sans la charge et de mettre la charge par la suite pour ne pas endommager les contact.
