Great for Quick Touch Up Jobs
This steamer does a great job for moderately wrinkled clothes. However, heavier or badly wrinkled items would be easier to iron. One complaint is that it is not high enough. There is an extension rod with a place to hang clothes, however, this necessitates bending quite a bit, and I am not exceptionally tall, a little over 5'8".The wheels are a nice touch enabling you move the steamer around easily. I would have preferred adjustable steam settings, but then, this is not a high end machine.Final score: Worth the price

Absolute joke of a product
After researching and wishing for a great steamer, I was convinced Conair is a pro manufacturer. Boy, was I disappointed! First off, the water tank they sent me was cracked and they refused to exchange the part, so i had to tape it all around to even try and use it. Upon finally managing to fill a tank that was leaking in all directions, each time I tried to insert it into a machine, it would leak all over the floor before I could even turn the steamer on and do anything with it. Upon contacting customer service, they refused to ackonwledge any default claiming their "90 day limited warranty"- you know there's something wrong with the device if you're only allowing 90 days for any claims, right? Either way, I would've paid half the product's worth in return shipment, just to get another piece of plastic crap that 90% most likely won't work. To say that I'm disappointed by spending 90$ on something I never even got to use is an understatement. Be warned, this is the worst product out there. I'm yet to find a steamer that works and will last over a year. If you have one like that, let me know-I'm sick of wasting my money.

Good while it lasted
I really enjoyed this steamer in the early days. We even named it Rosie, for its robot-like appearance. However, last week (after about 1.5 years) of service, Rosie almost started a fire in my laundry room.I had noticed from time to time that the power plug would get a bit hot. But this time, I discovered black smoke eminating from the outlet ... and the machine was still producing steam, which tells me that it has insufficient short-circut protection. There is no recall that I know of, and perhaps it is a fluke, but nonetheless BE CAREFUL.

I love my steamer!
I've just used my new Conair steamer and I love it. This device is lightweight and easy to maneuver. The hose, although very stiff when coming out of the box, becomes extremely pliable and easy to work with once the machine heats up. The machine heats up in minutes and steam flows steady and strong without gurgling or spitting out water. I steamed a very wrinkled couch slipcover in approximately 10 minutes without fighting with a cumbersome machine and without any water spots! My experience was much faster, easier and more efficient than my usual experiences with a 10 year old Jif steamer. I highly recommend this product for anyone who steams even occasionally. It is worth it.

Steamed
Steamer was ordered and recieved in good shape. We had one just like it for 10 years and it finally died. It did a good job and we bought another. If it lasts as good as the first one we will order another. We like it!

Conair steamers are not worth the price
I have this Conair steamer and after limited useage it became very moody. Within 5 minutes the steam vent goes from normal flow to little steam to no steam at all. The water tank is completely full and the "water shortage" light continues to turn on. After playing w/ the shortage water button and it stays turned off it takes a long time for the steam to return and then it is very little. There is no constant flow of steam, I have to wave the hose around or grab the bottom of the steamer and move it back & forth and still must wait for the steam to flow. A friend of mine had the same Conair steamer to steam bridal & formal gowns and her steamer did the same thing as mine. When you need to steam garments and don't have hours to play around w/ the steamer, praying to get steam, DO NOT BUY THIS STEAMER.

Faster than any iron
Bought this as a direct replacement for one I had for more than 5 years. Works great and really much better and faster than ironing.

I don't use my iron any more!
This item was in my Gold Box. Having used one when I worked in retail years ago, I decided to give it a try. I haven't plugged my iron in since I got my steamer!! Even my husband has started using it. He loves the way it quickly touches up his polo/golf shirts. It works great on cotton knit items that my kids wear and is a dream on silk and polyester based fabrics. This is one of the best products I have purchased this year!
