Worth the price of the tank alone!
This playset is an interesting mix of vehicles, figures, and playset. Not every component will appeal to everyone, but there's a lot going on here so there is bound to be something that appeals to you. The main question is if there is enough to make it worth it. For the price, you get a lot of stuff. Let's look at what comes in the package.Tank:The main attraction here is the Steel Badger tank. I love this thing and its worth the $30 alone. I use all fo this stuff with G.I. Joes, and getting a tank of this size would probably cost upwards of $100. The color scheme is nice and can work for both heros and villains. I have seen a couple people repaint these in Cobra colors and they look fantastic, so you can do a lot with the tank but its also fine as it is. There is a moving turret that has a hatch that opens with space for a figure. There is also an opening hatch on the back. Both of these functions are nice, but I'm not in love with the space inside the tank. Its a little cramped and hard to get figures in there, especially in a good pose. Other than that the tank is perfect. It does also come with a big cannon piece with lights and sounds that attaches to the back of the tank. While I don't like this item, I'm super happy that it is detachable. Kids will love having it on, while I prefer using the flat space for ninja battles on top of the tank. Whatever your intent, this tank doesn't disappoint.Other vehicles:In addition to the tank you also get a jeep, an ATV, and a motorcycle. The best one is the jeep, which caught my eye immediately. There is room for a driver in front and a guy (or gal) to man the turret on the back. I would have liked a passenger seat, but instead there is a little turret gun there. There is also a spot for the turret gun on the hood of the vehicle, which is where I prefer it. The vehicle is also a little on the small side so you can't cram more than one figure in the back really, but overall a nice addition. The ATV is pretty much what you would expect, but it does have a mounted gun on the front which makes it stand out. Both the ATV and the motorcycle have really big handle bars which are too big for most G.I. Joes and similar sized figures, which makes them less useful to me, but they are still decent items. The steering wheel on the jeep does not have this problem and is actually quite nice. The motorcycle is pretty sturdy and has a working kickstand. Any of these vehicles will fit in the back of the tank so they are all welcome additions.Playset: This is the 'military camp' part of the product. 'You get a very nice watchtower, six pieces of fence, and a heavily armed gate. The gate piece is very cool, with an opening door, several mounted guns, and a platform for figures to stand and operate the gun. The box shows a machine gun on the gate and a missile launcher on the watchtower, but I switched them because it is easier for my G.I. Joes to comfortably stand and hold the guns that way. There are many opportunities for customization with the way you arrange these items. The 'military camp' shown on the box is pretty small and boring. There really isn't enough here to make a whole base, but it could be part of a base. I have arranged it like the front wall of a larger military instillation. The good thing is, if you were to buy more than one of these sets you could keep building bigger and bigger installations, so while what they show you isn't too great, you do have a lot of options with these pieces.Figures:This is the worst part of the set to me. There are 4 figures that are big, clunky, and have very poor articulation. In fact, since they can't turn their hands or move there arms much these figures can't even fit in the three smaller vehicles, at least not hold the wheels / handlebar. There is one saving grace though, which is the figure in heavy battle armor. The rest of them are too big to work with my G.I. Joe, Star Wars, and Marvel figures, but this guys armor is very cool and looks convincing enough next to one of those. Still, with limited articulation he will not be doing much. The figures are definitely not the reason you want this set.Other accessories:There are some punch out plastic weapons as well as a few other random pieces included here. Of the punch out weapons, the handgun and knife are pretty nice. There is also a tan sniper rifle with stand that comes separately from the other silver weapons. The sniper is probably the best weapon. The rest are far too big for G.I. Joes, though the Uzi is tempting. The other stuff is an oil barrel, sandbags, gas can, a flag, an ammo box, a radar, and a laptop computer. The oil barrel and gas can are fine scenery pieces, but none of these other accessories is very appealing.Closing thoughts:There is a lot of value in this playset, so even if you don't plan on using everything its still a good buy. For a child this is a battle in a box, enough for a lot of good times even if they don't have any other figures. Even if you just want it for the tank, its still cheaper than most competing options. I will point out that there are no directions on how to assemble the playset, so you might have to use the box to figure some things out, but mostly it is pretty easy to figure out, and has the potential for customization which is a plus. Overall I was impressed with the quality of most things. You know its a good product when they include an extra missile. This is probably the best action figure vehicle value I have ever come across so don't hesitate if you're interested.

Poor quality control, missing pieces, no instruction manual
Be aware of very poor quality control, several pieces were missing, no whatsoever any instruction how to set up, numerous small pieces let you wander why they are included but the one obvius (example: tank cupola or hatch missing) were not there. In short: not worth the money.
