These really are waterproof. My screen shattered and I got a replacement phone, and I got this case so I didn't shatter the screen on my replacement. I forgot to do the water test before I put it on my phone but the replacement ended up being defective and I had to send it back. I decided to test it before I got my second replacement, and it passed the test with flying colors. My husband has dropped his phone in the parking lot a few times and not only did the case protect his phone, but the case doesn't look like it got dropped or anything. i'm glad I didn't spend the $160 on a LifeProof cases. The only thing is you need to make sure the phone is properly seated in the case or there will be an echo. I almost send these back because my husband couldn't hear anyone at first, but he tried taking the phone out and installing it again and it solved the issue. Also, it feels like the clear plastic covering the screen is thinner or not as hard as the back of the case. I wish it was a little harder than it is. I wonder how protective it really is. Then again, it's more protective than nothing at all.

My husband got this for his S7 Edge, which has about 1000 tiny little cracks in the screen and is still somehow working. He was sick of almost cutting his fingers on his screen and got this to 1) protect the screen from further damage and 2) to protect his fingers from getting sliced open. It still allows for great responsiveness from the user, doesn't make it difficult to use the screen or anything. It provides great overall protection.

The case looks nice on the s7 edge. It was very durable and waterproof. Unfortunately this would not be a long term use case! As you know, the entire case has to be covered in order for it to be waterproof. With that being said, it affects the quality of pictures drastically. Even after removing case and cleaning camera and case, pictures were still a bit blurry. Also I havent been able to talk on speaker phone because it makes me sound muffled. Also the fingerprint id does not work with the case on. So If you are looking for a waterproof case to use for water activities then this would be a great pick! If you are looking for a case for everyday use I would have to say this may not be the case to choose.

I just got this phone case yesterday. I cannot tell you how happy I am with this purchase! I have had my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge since 2016. After having shattered the original glass screen protector about a year and a half ago, I have had nothing but trouble keeping a screen protector on. I decided to try this case as I have probably purchased 12 replacement screen protectors only to have the same problem. They do not fit with any cases and keep popping off or shattering when they start to come unglued. This case has the built in screen protector and functions as if there is nothing on it. The screen is very responsive. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE THIS CASE!!!!!

I bought this case to help keep dust and dirt out when I'm biking or camping, and it does a good job of that. I was less concerned with water since the S7 is already waterproof. It does an ok job of keeping water out but it has gotten water inside at times. The front screen protector is pretty worthless; it's no stronger than the plastic box it came in and it stays very dirty, has small dings, and a slight loss of sensitivity to the touch screen near the edge. All that is tolerable, but the worst part of this case is the area over the home button. The plastic bubbled and will not register a fingerprint so I cannot use any of my apps that use fingerprint as the sign in. This case is incredibly overpriced considering what low quality it is.

When my daughter's phone died and she wound up with my old Galaxy s7 she wanted a new case because the one I had on it had yellowed over time. I specifically wanted a case that covered front and back but also allowed for wireless charging and this case did all that. I have not tested the waterproof feature however, and do not intend to. My only complaint was with "Fulfilled by Amazon" and there choice of shipping methods (the forever unreliable USPS) which resulted in the item being late). I would do business with this seller again.

I have this issue with many waterproof cases on the market. For some reason when I am talking to others on the phone they have a very hard time hearing me because the case muffles the sound on my end. As soon as I pop the phone out of the case everyone thinks I took it off speakerphone or started talking more directly into the microphone. The only other "issue" I have is that I do have to touch the screen harder than I normally do, sometimes it can be a pain, but honestly it is an easy thing to get used to and overcome. Otherwise, this case is as expected. It is super easy to pop on and off of the phone (more so than Lifeproof or Otterbox cases I have had), but not so much that I am worried about it happening accidentally. I am a land surveyor, avid outdoorsman and lead an active lifestyle. This thing needs to protect my phone in temps from -40F to 95F, humid and dry climates, wind, snow, rain, sleet, ice, dirt, sand, tar/asphalt, water, chemicals, etc. as I am using it on job sites, in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness, on beaches in the tropics or anything in between. I keep it in my pocket or mount it to be viewed while on snowmobiles, bikes, motorcycles, boats, skiing, skating, surfing, boogie boarding, hiking, fishing, hunting, etc. So far so good and 5 stars on the protection aspects of the case. If the sound were better I would be giving this case 5 stars all around, but the way I use my phone I need that microphone to be crystal clear so it gets 3 stars from me.

I absolutely adore this case. I work outside so there's constantly dirt, mud, sand, water, literally everything you don't want near your phone. While the clear plastic on the front and back looks flimsy at a first glance, it's actually really good at keeping you phone screen safe. The outside did get scratched up, as plastic does, but i've never had it break through. The water seal is perfect, i've dropped it in puddles and bathtubs and never had an issue. I'm still amazed every time I take my phone out and it looks like it's brand new out of the box. I've had the case for a little under a year and just can't say a bad thing about it.
