It was a little tough for me to get slipped on the the buttstock but once on it was easy to get the cheek piece in and it fits nicely on my buttstock and works great.

Much needed product to provide the required height. Not sure how long the elasticity will last, and the product starts to slip and slide. Good short term solution.

I got this to raise the comb height on a Magpul Hunter stock with a Remington 700, .308 Win SA rifle. The stock had a fixed comb height and I needed more height to get a perfect cheek weld for my scope. The most important thing for you to know is that, at least for my stock, it was a real chore to get the sleeve on properly. That thing is TIGHT! However, once I got it on and properly positioned it was easy to install the different height pads. You just roll it back on itself, position your chosen pad and roll the sleeve over it. This was especially important, because in order to remove the bolt to clean the rifle I had to remove the pad. Once installed it is pretty stable. I gave 4 stars because of the difficulty with initial installation, but in actual use it is functional and stable.

We turned it inside out to slide it over the butt end of stock. Then rolled it back. We had to pocket knife trim the pad to fit the top of my stock. The roll over cheek design was not a standard fit. Then rolled the neoprene again to get pad under. Get someone to hold the gun for you.

This kit is a must have for the long range hunter or marksman. It provides a cushioned check rest to help reduce the effects of recoil while maintaining the correct eye alignment with your optical scope. To me it makes all the difference to maintain proper solid contact with the gunstock without pain causing a possible flinch.

This was a bit difficult to get on but I finally managed to do it. Put the sleeve on the stock first, then roll it back on itself, next put the piece of foam over the stock, and then pull the rolled sleeve portion back over so that it completely covers the the rise and comes down on the other side toward the end of the stock. This is not a bad product by any means. It is just that it is not capable of being fully stable. I got this to work but I'm not terribly happy with how it shifts around on me. It's on there about as tight as anyone could hope to make it. This is pretty good for an interim solution but I'm going to have to find another another product to use permanently. Putting being able to brace your jaw up against the stock greatly improves accuracy and precision. You're able to then put your cheek or jaw up against this and get just the correct I relief to be highly consistent in your marksmanship. If anyone has a suggestion for me I would very much like to hear about it.

Fits snug, easy to install. I kept having trouble trying to zero in on my scope. After adding this cheek riser, I can throw it up and zero in on a target with ease. I also like the slim fit. The neoprene grip stays firmly in place. I mistakenly bought the one without the hole for the sling, but that was my bad. So be sure you pay attention to that if you need it.

This comb-raising package works OK. It does tend to slide around a bit. I used two pieces of the foam to raise the comb, and it did improve my comfort and help me align the shotgun better against my cheek. The comb is very comfortable and this is an inexpensive way to give your butt stock some additional height and thickness.

good product, easy to install , best to turn inside out and roll on to stock instead of sliding on. measure your stock and compare to product measurements as neoprene doesn't stretch much . very satisfied .

So far it's what I expected, fits well, looks ok. I haven't really had the opportunity to test it that well. Seen that it's in the middle of winter and there's an ammo shortage . However I have tried it out twice. And it fits and feels fine .

The "secret" to installing this is to turn it inside out and roll it up. Then slide the wide end onto the stock and unroll it over the stock. Reading some reviews I get the feeling this is not as intuitive as I imagined. Anyway, it's a good kit. I actually didn't use the included risers, I use closed cell foam to get the perfect height. A little fiddly to build up and test but totally worth it. Also this looks way nicer then my usual foam and gorilla tape method:)
